If you’re like me, keeping up with your favorite network shows without cable can feel like a struggle. I don’t want to wait weeks for a full season to drop, but I also don’t want to add a live TV streamer to my monthly expenses. That’s where next-day streaming comes in. It’s how I stay caught up on hit shows without the hassle, and when it comes to the best streamer for next-day network TV, Hulu takes the cake for one reason: it carries both ABC and Fox shows. Peacock has NBC shows, Paramount+ has CBS shows, while Hulu alone gets you halfway there. Not bad! Here’s why I think it’s the best option to stay up to date with network TV.

Everything you need to know about the best streamer for next-day network TV shows

What scripted ABC shows can you watch on Hulu?

One of the big reasons Hulu is my choice for best streamer for next-day network TV shows is that it offers next-day viewing of hit ABC shows, including the newest season of “Abbott Elementary.” This Emmy-winning comedy keeps getting better, following a group of passionate but underfunded teachers at a Philadelphia public school as they try to give their students the best education possible - despite constant obstacles. Season 3 brings even more hilarious and heartfelt moments, so whether you’re tuning in for the comedy, the relatable workplace chaos, or just to see what’s next for your favorite characters, Hulu makes sure you don’t have to wait to watch.

If you’re into light crime dramas with a twist, “High Potential” should be on your radar. This ABC show follows Morgan, a single mom with a genius-level IQ, who goes from cleaning police precincts to cracking cases alongside detective Adam Karadec. I think their dynamic is a great mix of her unconventional smarts and his by-the-book approach, leading to some very entertaining crime-solving. The first season ended with some major cliffhangers, but there’s good news: ABC has renewed “High Potential” for a second season, so we’ll get answers to those burning questions. If you haven’t checked it out yet, now’s the perfect time to catch up with Hulu before the new season drops.

For a classic medical drama that keeps on producing great TV, “Grey’s Anatomy” is a must-watch. The show kicks off with Meredith Grey, a newbie surgical intern at Seattle Grace Hospital, juggling the pressures of the OR and her complicated personal life. From steamy romances to high-stakes medical cases, the series keeps you hooked with its blend of drama and emotion. Over the years, it’s introduced us to unforgettable characters like the ambitious Cristina Yang and the charming Derek “McDreamy” Shepherd. Whether you’re starting fresh or re-watching, it’s a rollercoaster of emotions you won’t want to miss.

What unscripted ABC shows can you watch on Hulu?

Not only do you get some of the biggest ABC scripted shows on Hulu, but you get unscripted shows too. If you’re a trivia fan, “Celebrity Jeopardy!” is back with its third season, and it’s bringing a fresh batch of stars to test their knowledge for charity. Hosted by Ken Jennings, this season features 27 celebrities competing in a three-round tournament, all aiming for that $1 million prize for their chosen causes. The lineup is pretty exciting, with folks like Max Greenfield, Camilla Luddington and comedian W. Kamau Bell already having faced off in the premiere episode, with Neil deGrasse Tyson, Rachel Brosnahan, and comedian Margaret Cho stepping up to the podium next.

For less head and more heart, don’t miss Season 29 of “The Bachelor.” This season features 31-year-old day trader Grant Ellis, who you might remember from Jenn Tran’s season of “The Bachelorette.” Grant’s back and ready to find love among 25 contestants, including standout personalities like Juliana Pasquarosa, a client service associate with a passion for piano, and Dina Lupancu, a Chicago attorney with a big family. With hometown dates on the horizon, the stakes are higher than ever. Catch new episodes on Hulu on Tuesdays after they air on Monday nights.

Finally, if you’re into entrepreneurial showdowns and big-money deals, “Shark Tank” Season 16 is airing now. This season, which premiered in October of last year, brings some exciting changes to the tank. Daniel Lubetzky, the founder of KIND Snacks, has joined the panel as a full-time shark, adding fresh energy and perspective. This is also Mark Cuban’s final season, marking the end of an era for the show. Whether you’re an aspiring entrepreneur or just love seeing innovative ideas come to life, “Shark Tank” always delivers the goods.

What scripted Fox shows can you watch on Hulu?

Now, the other big reason Hulu is my choice for the best streamer for next-day network TV is that it offers up Fox shows too. Perhaps none bigger than one of my favorite animated shows, “Family Guy.” This long-running series follows the wild adventures of the Griffin family in Quahog, Rhode Island. From Peter’s outrageous schemes to Stewie’s world domination plots, the show blends sharp satire with pop culture parodies. Season 23 just started, with a hilarious “Top Gun” parody that had me laughing out loud. With Hulu, you can catch new episodes the day after they air on Fox, making it super convenient to stay up-to-date with the Griffins’ latest antics.

For all those animal lovers out there, this is the workplace comedy for you: “Animal Control.” The show follows a group of Seattle animal control officers whose daily routines are anything but ordinary, thanks to the unpredictable mix of critters and quirky humans they encounter. Season 3 premiered last month, so whether you’re here for the animal hijinks or the hilarious team dynamics, “Animal Control” keeps the laughs coming.

If you’re looking for something new and different, “Going Dutch” is worth checking out. The show stars Denis Leary as Colonel Patrick Quinn, a hotheaded Army officer who gets sent to a small, seemingly unimportant base in the Netherlands after a public meltdown. The twist? His estranged daughter, Captain Maggie Quinn (played by Taylor Misiak), is stationed there too. Their father-daughter dynamic is anything but smooth, and their clashing leadership styles make for plenty of laughs. “Going Dutch” premiered last month, so you can catch new eps the next day on Hulu.

Switching gears from comedy to drama, definitely check out “Doc”. The show follows Dr. Amy Larsen, a brilliant doctor who wakes up after a car accident only to realize she’s lost the last eight years of her memory. Now, she has to figure out how to be a doctor again while piecing together what happened in her personal life - including a marriage that didn’t last and medical breakthroughs she doesn’t remember. Molly Parker is great in the lead role, balancing the emotional weight of the story with plenty of heart. If you love medical dramas but want something a little different, this one’s worth checking out.

What unscripted Fox shows can you watch on Hulu?

There are also a few household reality TV Fox shows you can watch next-day on Hulu, including the classic “Kitchen Nightmares,” which is back and better than ever. In Season 9, Gordon Ramsay returns to rescue struggling restaurants from the brink of disaster. This season has a unique twist, with the first half set in New Orleans leading up to Super Bowl LIX, featuring appearances by NFL stars. Whether you’re here for Ramsay’s fiery critiques or the inspiring turnarounds, “Kitchen Nightmares” continues to serve up a hearty mix of drama and redemption.

If you’re into high-stakes trivia battles, “The Floor” is a game show you should check out. Hosted by Rob Lowe, the show features 100 contestants standing on a massive LED floor, each occupying a square that represents a different trivia category. Players challenge adjacent opponents in head-to-head duels, aiming to conquer their squares and expand their territory. The ultimate goal? Dominate the entire floor to win a grand prize of $250,000.

Finally, for survival fans out there looking for their next big show, “Extracted” is a must-watch. This series drops 12 amateur survivalists into the wilds of British Columbia. But here’s the kicker: their families watch everything via live feed from a cozy headquarters and have the power to pull them out of the game by hitting an “Extract” button. Oh, and the last contestant standing wins a cool $250,000… Executive produced by Sylvester Stallone, “Extracted” offers a fresh take on the genre. Definitely check it out.
