Christmas is a time when a roaring fire in the fireplace just elevates the atmosphere to another level. But if you don’t have a fireplace in your living room, a streaming Yule log is essentially the next best thing! You may not get any heat from a streaming Yule log, but you be able to generate some of the holiday warmth that’s so synonymous with the season, and you can also find logs themed after some of your favorite movies and shows! Which streaming services offer Yule logs in 2024?

Disney+

Disney+ has two Yule log options, both from the “Frozen” universe. The first is the Arendelle Castle Yule Log, which is a bit more about the characters than it is about the fire itself. The hearth takes center stage in this yYuleule log, but periodically characters from the movie like Olaf and Sven will appear.

The other Yule log is a Cut Paper edition of the same Arendelle Castle log. It features paper cutout silhouettes of characters from the movie crowded around a purple paper flame. It’s not as lively as some other Yule logs, but it does provide a haunting wintertime atmosphere.

Hulu

There are lots of Yule logs that are only available with Hulu add-ons, but two that subscribers of the main Hulu service can access. The Happiest Season: Holiday Yule Log Scenic is themed for the Hulu original movie “Happiest Season” is one of the more fanciful on this list, with a color-changing fire and music playing over the log through its 14-minute runtime.

The streamer also continues to carry the “How to Train Your Dragon” Snoggletog log, featuring a setting and characters for the movie. Scottish-themed music plays in the background, providing a more energetic but still festive theme.

Max

Max has a great selection of Yule logs, starting with the Calcifer log from “Howl's Moving Castle.” It whisks you into the world of Hayao Miyazaki, where the friendly fire demon Calcifer tries to keep your holidays warm.

Max has not one, but two Adult Swim Yule logs for the more irreverent viewers to enjoy. The first devolves into a full-blown horror story, and “Yule Log 2: Branching Out” is more of a traditional film that tells what happens next. The streamer also continues to carry its “https://thestreamable.com/shows/rick-and-morty-2013 Rick & Morty“-themed log to help you enjoy the season with the universe-traveling pair.

Things continue on Max with two more IP-themed logs: The World of Westeros Dragon Egg Yule log from the “Game of Thrones” universe, and a Harry Potter: Fireplace log that whisks you to Hogwarts with a warm drink and a magical book in front of the fireplace.

Finally, the Super Cute Yule Log includes puppies, kittens, and other adorable pets frolicking in front of a warm fire while seasonal tunes play in the background.

Netflix

Netflix offers a mix of traditional and TV show-themed logs, so that subscribers can welcome any vibe they want into their holiday celebration. Fireplace for Your Home, Classic Crackling Fireplace, and Crackling Birchwood Fireplace all fill the former category, giving you exactly what you expect: warm fires with all the ASMR that comes with them and not a lot of extra fluff.

The streamer also has a selection themed for “The Witcher,” as well as hearths sourced from the universe of “Bridgerton,” the new animated movie “Spellbound,” and, most strangely of all, “Squid Game.”

Paramount+

Paramount+ has just one Yule log, the Mountain Holiday Campfire. The peaceful sounds of nature permeate this log, with the Paramount mountain in view, the fire is situated at the edge of a calming alpine lake.

Peacock

There are two Yule logs on offer from Peacock this year. The first carries the theme of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” (2000), set in the living room of a Who in Whoville. The Grinch himself stops in to warm his bones and cause a little mischief!

The second is, as anyone could have predicted, set in the universe of the murderous doll Chucky. The man himself sits motionless in a chair by the fire, ominously still but holding a mug of cocoa that you’re never sure if he’ll drink or throw in your face for a scalding.

Prime Video

There are plenty of choices for Yule logs on Prime Video, even if you have to scroll threw a slew of options that you have to pay to watch. The Classic Yule Log offers just what it promises, and the Christmas Carol Yule Log Fireplace plays the classic movie alongside the log.

Its Christmas Fireplace - Yule Log With Classic Holiday Films does the same but features a rotating selection of holiday movies to stream alongside your comforting fireplace. Other selections include the Relaxing Beach Campfire Log, the Yippee Yule Log, and new for 2024, Sneaky Santa’s Yule Log.

Sling Freestream

Viewers can choose one of several Yule log streams on Sling Freestream, and as the name suggests they’re all available at no cost. The [Adult Swim] Yule log is the same one you’ll find on Max, but there’s a Yule Log Hour channel and the Classic Christmas Fireplace for a more traditional choice.

For the irreverent Christmas lovers out there, the Eff Yule log and the MST3K log await. Sling Freestream doesn’t have as many logs as last year, but there are still some great choices at no cost.
