NFL Sunday Ticket rolls out big discount for new customers
New Sunday Ticket subscribers can grab the out-of-market package for up to $204 off for the next year.
The 2025 NFL season is still around three months off, but YouTube TV is already trying to incentivize people to subscribe to NFL Sunday Ticket. The out-of-market games service allows viewers to watch any NFL games not airing in their local markets on CBS or Fox on Sunday afternoons, but the price of the service climbed to almost $500 for certain customers this year. That’s a bitter pill for any fan to swallow, but new customers got great news on Monday, when YouTube TV announced a major discount for first-time subscribers to Sunday Ticket.

The discount announced by YouTube TV on NFL Sunday Ticket will allow new customers to sign up and get their first year of service for the equivalent of $23 per month. This deal is available to subscribers, whether they choose to bundle a subscription to YouTube TV into their package as well, or sign up for Sunday Ticket on its own.
Considering that a subscription to NFL Sunday Ticket without YouTube TV via Primetime Channels would normally cost $480 this season, new subscribers can save more than $200. You can also choose whether you want to pay for Sunday Ticket all at once or over the course of the four-month season. NFL Sunday Ticket recently allowed customers to start paying for a subscription over the course of 12 months, but when I went to test the new discount, I did not see this option available despite YouTube TV advertising that viewers can choose a 12-month payment plan with it.
The table below shows the price to sign up for NFL Sunday Ticket with the discount. Customers will pay the same price for Sunday Ticket whether or not they sign up for a YouTube TV base package at $83 per month on top of it. It’s important to note that viewers who sign up for a monthly payment plan of Sunday Ticket cannot cancel during the course of their year’s subscription, and will be on the hook for the full $276 price of the service no matter what once they sign up.

There was no discount announced for returning NFL Sunday Ticket subscribers this week, but there could still be one in the future. Customers can also try canceling their auto-renew and signing up for Sunday Ticket again when another discount becomes available; in May 2024, YouTube TV gave existing customers $100 off their season of NFL Sunday Ticket, and urged them to cancel auto-renew to get the discount.
YouTube TV revealed the price for the 2025 NFL Sunday Ticket season in March. Normally, customers would have to pay $378 for the service with a YouTube TV subscription, or $480 to get it as a standalone service through YouTube TV Primetime Channels. But with the current price break, new customers can save up to $204 off a full year of Sunday Ticket service.
