Our favorite way to stream the 2025 Kentucky Derby: Sling TV

Sling TV is our betting favorite to watch the 2025 Kentucky Derby. It carries NBC in its Blue channel package in several of the largest media markets in the United States — more on which specific markets get NBC below. The Sling Blue plan normally costs $46 per month, but new customers can sign up for Sling now and get their first month of service for only $23, thanks to Sling's 50% discount.

We also love Sling because it will be the cheapest way to watch the entire Triple Crown from start to finish this year. Fox will carry the Belmont Stakes in June, a channel that can also be found in the Sling Blue package in select markets. The Preakness Stakes will be back on NBC, so if you get that channel in your market with Sling, you’ll be set for all three races in the Triple Crown with a subscription.
