All Her Fault is the largest launch in Peacock history.

Peacock doesn’t get a smash streaming hit as often as other platforms like Netflix or HBO Max, but when it does, it can still pull an impressive audience to that title. As evidence, the streamer recently released its newest thriller “All Her Fault,” which has quickly compiled tens of millions of viewing hours to become the largest series launch in the history of Peacock.

Key Details:

  • Record-breaker: “All Her Fault” has compiled 46 million viewing hours in its first three weeks.
  • Weekly release: The show’s release schedule makes its early viewership all the more impressive.
  • Twists and turns: The thriller centers on a mother whose son disappears after being dropped off for a routine playdate.

As reported by Variety, data from Nielsen shows that in its first three weeks of availability, “All Her Fault” has racked up 46 million viewing hours. That puts it over the top as the most-watched premiere in its first three weeks in the streaming service’s history.

The release schedule for “All Her Fault” makes that feat even more impressive. The show is releasing one episode per week, so while the premiere episode was released on Nov. 7 and therefore has had three weeks to accrue viewing hours, more recent episodes have only had a portion of that exposure.

That bodes well for “All Her Fault,” as it shows new audiences are coming to the premiere episode many days after its initial release. The data may convince Peacock to give the show another season, despite the fact that it was released as a limited series, and despite that the show’s source material — a novel of the same name by author Andrea Mara — does not have a sequel.

“All Her Fault” centers on Marissa Irvine (Sarah Snook), a working mom who drops her son Milo off for what she thinks is a normal playdate. But when she arrives at the address she’s been given to pick him up, she discovers she has never met the person living there, and they have never heard of Milo or the playdate she arranged.

The series also stars Dakota Fanning as Jenny Kaminski, another mother from Milo’s school, and Jake Lacy as Marissa’s husband, Peter. Viewers can check out the show on Peacock now, and more episodes may play on the NBC broadcast network in the coming weeks as well. The first episode of “All Her Fault” aired on NBC on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 10 p.m. ET.
