Where can you find a Philo subscription these days? The streamer has reason to be popular among customers who are ready to pay less for live TV streaming; Philo has a core channel package that includes a range of popular cable entertainment networks, as well as on-demand access to TV shows and movies from AMC+, HBO Max, and discovery+ as well.

With all of that content available, it stands to reason that viewers are looking for all the different methods they can use to sign up for Philo. But just how many of those methods exist? We’ll let you know how you can sign up for Philo and which streamers you can add to your subscription below.

What are all the methods of signing up for Philo?

Directly

A direct subscription to Philo is easy, fast, and reliable. You can head to the Philo website at any time and subscribe to the streamer’s Core package for $33 per month, unlocking all the content found in a Philo subscription. Customers can also watch AMC+ content directly through the Philo app, though they will have to download the HBO Max and discovery+ apps separately to stream the content found on those services.

Through third-party billers

There are several third-party billers that support the ability to sign up for Philo through their devices. Customers can sign up for Philo using Amazon Fire TV devices, Apple tech like the Apple TV 4K, TVs, and streaming players with Android TV, Roku devices, or Samsung smart TVs, and be billed through that company instead of directly by Philo.

What streamers can you add to Philo?

Once you’re signed up for Philo, there are a number of premium streamers and channels you can add to your subscription for an extra monthly fee. These include ALLBLK ($7 per month), ad-free AMC+ access ($4 more per month), Hallmark+ ($8 per month), MGM+ ($7 more per month), and STARZ ($11 per month). There is no bundled discount available for adding these streamers to a Philo subscription, and you’ll have to switch to Philo billing to get add-ons if you are currently billed by a third party.

Philo

Philo is a live TV streaming service designed for entertainment lovers, offering flexible ways to watch without the high price of traditional TV bundles. The service now features two paid plans — Essential and Bundle+ — alongside its existing free streaming offering, giving customers a range of options depending on how much live and premium content they want.

…

The Essential plan costs $25 per month and includes 70+ live TV channels focused on entertainment and lifestyle programming, such as AMC, HGTV, Hallmark Channel, Nickelodeon, and Food Network. Subscribers also get access to 120+ free streaming channels, more than 80,000 movies and shows on demand, and unlimited DVR with one-year storage. Essential also includes a 7-day free trial for new customers.

For viewers who want more premium content, Philo offers the Bundle+ plan for $33 per month (formerly the Philo Core plan). Bundle+ includes everything in Essential, plus ad-supported AMC+ and access to the HBO Max (Basic with Ads) app. Users can also access discovery+ content directly within the Philo app. While Bundle+ adds a full premium streaming bundle for just $8 more per month, it does not include a free trial.

The service is available on most major devices, including Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, smart TVs, mobile devices, and web browsers. In addition to its paid plans, Philo also offers a free ad-supported streaming experience, allowing users to explore content before deciding whether to upgrade to a live TV subscription.

While it doesn’t include local broadcast stations or sports networks like ESPN, FS1 or NBC Sports Network, Philo remains one of the most affordable live TV streaming options for entertainment-focused viewers. With a simple lineup, generous DVR storage, and a clear path from free streaming to live TV and premium bundles, Philo is an appealing choice for cord-cutters who want to keep costs down while still enjoying a wide range of popular programming.
