For most people, we suggest the Roku Streaming Stick+ which can stream up to 4K Ultra HD at 60 fps, HDR, and Dolby Audio and be purchase from Amazon for $73.97.

If you don’t need a streaming stick, the Roku Express 4K+ is just as good, supports 4K and HDR10+, but is $10 less. The biggest difference is that it doesn’t include quad-band Wi-Fi (still has 802.11ac) and is a streaming box, instead of a stick.

If you want support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, or need an Ethernet Port, we suggest you upgrade to the latest version of the Roku Ultra. While it is more expensive at $128.57, it the highest-end Roku device available.

We don’t suggest you purchase the Roku Express. At this point, it is underpowered and doesn’t include a remote with TV controls. For $10-15 more, you’re much better off with the Roku Express 4K+.

With their latest update you can now AirPlay to Roku streaming players and Roku 4k TVs.

Roku Smart Soundbars

Roku also now offers two “Smart Soundbar” devices called the Roku Streambar and the Roku Streambar Pro. Both devices include a built-in 4K streaming player, along with a Dolby Digital soundbar.

If you are looking for a Soundbar for your living room, the Roku Streambar Pro is your best bet. It has much bigger, bolder sound than the Roku Streambar. However, if you want to improve the sound in your bedroom, the Roku Streambar is a worthy Soundbar with a built-in 4K streaming player.
