The best shows streaming right now — and exactly where to watch them

100 shows worth watching right now across Netflix, Hulu, Max, Apple TV+, Prime Video, and more — with what each service costs. Updated weekly.

As a cord-cutter since 2010, he’s spent over 15 years covering tech and streaming for sites like TechRadar, Tom’s Guide, and CrackBerry. He also has a soft spot for '80s movies.

TV used to be pretty cut-and-dry. Your favorite shows always aired during primetime on a specific day of the week, and you could easily see what the top 20 shows were just by flipping through a magazine or checking out the newspaper. Now there are tens of thousands of shows across dozens of streaming services — and finding the ones actually worth your time takes real work.

That’s what this list is for. We dug through network hits, streaming originals, and critical darlings to bring you the 100 best shows to stream right now — a mix of ongoing series, recent finishers, and a handful of bingeable classics that still hold up in 2026. You’ll find some all-time greats like “Breaking Bad,” “The Sopranos,” and “Avatar: The Last Airbender” alongside newer shows you may not have heard of yet — but absolutely should.

A few caveats: some of these shows have ended, been canceled, or are between seasons. We think they’re still worth watching. This is an opinionated list, not an algorithm — so if you’ve got strong feelings about what’s missing, the comments are yours.
