Chicago Sports Network Strikes Carriage Deal With Fubo for Blackhawks, Bulls, Sox Games
The deal will allow Fubo customers to access the new regional sports network which will carry Blackhawks, Bulls and starting in 2025 White Sox games.
The newest regional sports network in the United States is adding another major distribution partner. The Chicago Sports Network (CHSN) announced on Friday, Oct. 25 that it had struck a new deal with the live TV streaming service Fubo, which will allow all Fubo customers living in the Chicago area to watch non-national broadcasts of Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Bulls games, as well as Chicago White Sox contests starting in 2025.
Key Details:
- CHSN is available in all Fubo packages, including its base Pro plan.
- DIRECTV has already agreed to distribute CHSN, which is available on over-the-air channels as well.
- CHSN still has not agreed to a deal with Comcast, one of Chicago’s largest pay-TV distributors.

CHSN is now available to all Fubo subscribers living in the Chicago market. The network is available in every Fubo package, including its Pro plan, which starts at $95 per month including the regional sports network fee that customers will have to pay.
“Fubo continues to deliver more access for sports fans to watch their favorite teams, and they have made it clear that Chicago sports and their fans are an important part of that growth,” CHSN president Jason Coyle said. “As we continue to aim to be on every platform where our fans watch, we are excited about the opportunity the Fubo platform provides our fans through their flexible billing terms and availability everywhere.”
Fubo has made the availability of regional sports networks (RSNs) a hallmark of its service. It carries RSNs in most areas of the United States, including FanDuel Sports Networks and NBC Sports channels as well.
CHSN is continuing to add distribution partners to help it reach more and more Chicago customers. The channel's content is available for free over-the-air (OTA) on WJYS channels 62.2 and 62.3 in and around Chicago.
DIRECTV is also carrying CHSN, becoming the first pay-TV company to team with the channel. CHSN has not agreed to a carriage deal with Comcast yet, however. Reports indicate that, as it does with other RSNs, Comcast wants to put CHSN on a higher service tier, which the channel’s co-owner Standard Media Group has resisted.
