Pulling Prime Video shows from your Continue Watching row on Prime Video is easy to accomplish.

One of the features you’ll find on basically every streaming service nowadays is a Continue Watching row. This allows viewers to jump back into the show they were watching last on the service instantly, but what if they don’t want to finish a title in that row anymore? In that case, it’s simply taking up space on the home screen, and would likely be better off removed.

If you’re a Prime Video customer and you want to pull a show like “Beast Games” or “The Boys” from your Continue Watching row, we’ll give you instructions on how to do it below!

What you need to know about removing shows or movies from your Continue Watching row

How to pull shows from your Continue Watching row on Prime Video via app

Prime Video makes it relatively easy to take titles out of your Continue Watching row. To do so, scroll to the show you want to remove from the row, and click the settings button on your remote. On almost all Amazon Fire TV remotes this button has three horizontal lines on it.

When you click this button while highlighting a show, a menu will open with several options. Click Remove From List, and the chosen title will be removed from your Continue Watching section instantly.

How to pull shows from your Continue Watching row on Prime Video via web browser

It’s basically as simple to remove shows from Continue Watching on a web browser as it is to do via the Prime Video app. All you have to do is navigate to the Prime Video home page on Amazon in a web browser, and scroll down past the hero carousel at the top of the page. Your Continue Watching row will be the first option you see.

To remove a show from this row, hover over its tile and find the small X button.

Clicking the button will allow you to banish that particular show or movie from your Continue Watching list. When you refresh the page or come back to Prime Video during a different session, you will see that it no longer appears there.

Alternatively, you can also remove shows from your Continue Watching history on your browser by heading to the Prime Video home page, then clicking the drop-down menu that pops out when you hover over your profile icon. Simply click “Account & Settings,” then click “Watch History.” You’ll see a “Delete episodes from watch history” button next to the titles in your history; simply click this to remove them, and they’ll no longer appear in your Continue Watching section.

Can you restore deleted shows to your Continue Watching row on Prime Video?

Yes! If you use the web method and have clicked the small X button in the show’s tile as shown above, Prime Video will gray out the tile and show a message saying that it has been removed from the Continue Watching section. Under that message, you will see an Undo button that you can click to restore the title.

If you don’t click the Undo button, but want to see that title in your Continue Watching section later, you can simply start watching the given title over again and restore it to the row that way. Starting to watch a title once more is the only way to restore it to your Continue Watching row on the Prime Video app.

Can you hide shows you haven’t watched yet from the Prime Video home page?

Yes, you can. If you see a show in Prime Video’s Most Watched TV row (or any other content row) that you don’t have any interest in watching, you can easily hide it from the interface by using the settings button on your remote as described when using the app, or by above hovering over that show tile and clicking the circle with the line through it on a web browser. This will let you hide that series, and it will not appear on Prime Video the next time you log in.
