The NFL regular season is still a few weeks off, but DIRECTV doesn’t think you have to wait that long to win big. On Thursday, DIRECTV announced a new way to reward its viewers: the “Front Row Seat” sweepstakes, which will allow viewers to enter for the chance to win some great prizes, including several streaming subscriptions.

The “Front Row Seat” sweepstakes is part of the DIRECTV Perks program, which celebrated its first anniversary in February. Five lucky winners will be chosen in the sweepstakes, and any customers who sign up for the DIRECTV ENTERTAINMENT package and Sports Pack add-on with a leased Gemini device at the discounted rate of $60 for your first month between Aug. 6 and Aug. 24 are eligible.
Winners of the “Front Row Seat” sweepstakes will get access to bill credits for twelve consecutive months, and will also receive the ad-supported Disney Bundle of Disney+, Hulu, and the new ESPN streaming service. The DIRECTV Sports Pack will still be included, and winners will also get Apple TV+, HBO Max, Netflix, Paramount+, and Peacock Premium subscriptions.
That’s over $9,000 in total prizes, so cord-cutters shopping for a new way to receive pay-TV channels will definitely want to look into a DIRECTV subscription. The discount drops the price of the ENTERTAINMENT package from $85 to $60 for the first month of service, and includes the Sports Pack add-on free for that month, which normally costs $15 per month. After the first month, the price of the ENTERTAINMENT package and Sports Pack will revert to their regular costs, but viewers can cancel at any time if they wish.
The DIRECTV ENTERTAINMENT package comes with more than 90 channels, including local broadcast networks like ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC, as well as top national sports networks such as ESPN, FS1, and TNT. It also comes with plenty of news and entertainment networks, and the Sports Pack adds more than 10 additional sports channels to the lineup, including NFL RedZone when the NFL season rolls around.
There’s also a deal available for customers who don’t want to lease a Gemini device from DIRECTV and would rather stream their channel package on their own device. This deal drops the price of the ENTERTAINMENT package and Sports Pack add-on to $50 for your first month, but it’s important to note that if you choose this discount, you won’t be eligible for the “Front Row Seat” sweepstakes.
