Fubo strikes deal with Rangers Sports Network for 2025
The agreement means Fubo customers in the Rangers’ broadcast footprint will be able to watch the team’s local games all season long.
Fans of the Texas Rangers will have yet another option to watch the team via streaming this season. Ahead of the Rangers’ season opener on Thursday, March 27, the team’s new regional sports network (RSN) partner Rangers Sports Network has agreed to a distribution deal with Fubo, allowing it to stream on that service.
Key Details:
- The Rangers first announced the creation of Rangers Sports Network in January.
- Fans will be able to watch via Fubo’s Pro plan or higher.
- Rangers Sports Network is also available via DIRECTV, or fans can choose to stream on Victory+ instead.
Rangers Sports Network was first announced in January, and is available to fans in all or parts of five states: Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. The Rangers formerly played their local games on a Bally Sports channel, but left that network following the end of the 2024 season, before the channel was renamed as a FanDuel Sports Network.
Fubo will offer the channel in its Pro plan and above. Fubo packages with regional sports networks start at $85 per month but also come with an additional RSN fee of $16 monthly. In addition, Fubo will allow fans to add a Rangers Sports Network subscription to Fubo Free, or the streamer’s Latino plan. Fans can also stream MLB Network with select Fubo plans, and bundle the out-of-market games service MLB.TV with their subscription as well.
“As the streaming leader in Major League Baseball coverage, we cannot be more thrilled to add Rangers Sports Network to Fubo,” said Todd Mathers, EVP at Fubo. “Our robust carriage and sponsorship agreement means Fubo subscribers can watch Texas Rangers baseball all season long while engaging with the team through multiple fan opportunities.”
There are multiple other ways to stream the Rangers this season as well. DIRECTV is also offering Rangers Sports Network in its CHOICE package, and viewers can also stream the team for $100 per season with a subscription to Victory+.
