About The 2024 Paris Olympics Closing Ceremony

The final event before the 2024 Paris Olympics officially ends is the women’s basketball gold medal game at 9 a.m. ET on Sunday, Aug. 11. From there, coverage of the Closing Ceremony starts at 3 p.m. ET, live from the Stade de France, which will be converted from a stadium to a concert hall for the event. The largest stadium in the country was home to rugby and track and field events during the games.

While exact details of the Closing Ceremony are kept heavily under wraps, viewers can expect a spectacle to rival the Opening Ceremony, with hundreds of dancers, acrobats, singers, and other performers bidding farewell to the games. In addition to remarks from French president Emmanuel Macron, traditions like the lowering of the Olympic Flag, extinguishing of the Olympic Torch, and celebrations for the medalists will be on display.

Why We Like Peacock for Watching the 2024 Paris Olympics Closing Ceremony

For the first time in history, every single event of the Summer Olympics – including the Closing Ceremony - will be available to stream. Never before have fans been able to catch each and every game, match, and event, including all 329 medal events. But for the 2024 Paris Games, Peacock is making that happen, and you can watch them all live. So, if you are an Olympic fanatic, NBCUniversal’s flagship streaming service has everything that you could possibly hope for.

The best part is that Peacock costs as little as $7.99 to watch the entire. Peacock Premium — the service’s ad-supported tier — is less than $8 per month, and you will get all of the Olympic coverage as well Peacock’s full library as well. If you want to stream on-demand content without commercial interruptions, you can opt for the Peacock Premium Plus plan for $13.99 monthly.

If instead you are in the market for a live TV streaming service for during and after the Olympics, The Streamable’s expert recommendation is to sign up for Hulu + Live TV. Not only does it carry all of the NBCU channels that will broadcast Olympic coverage, but it also comes with the Disney Bundle included. So, you will get the Hulu on-demand library, Disney+, and ESPN+ at no extra charge.
