About the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup

Chelsea faced the only non-European semifinalist in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, taking down Brazil’s Fluminense by a score of 2-0. Adding insult to injury, both of Chelsea’s goals in the match were scored by new addition João Pedro, who is a product of the Fluminense academy.

Paris Saint-Germain enters the final as the reigning European champion, having won the 2024-25 UEFA Champions League. PSG faced old friend Kylian Mbappe and his new club Real Madrid in the semifinals, but weren’t distracted by nostalgia, and put a 4-0 hurting on the Spanish side.
