It all comes down to this: after a thrilling regular season, the Washington Spirit and Gotham FC are the only teams left still alive in the chase for the NWSL Championship. After Gotham FC got a late goal against Orlando in their semifinal matchup last week to win 1-0, and the Spirit shut out Portland 2-0, the two bitter rivals will face off on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 8 p.m. ET at PayPal Park in San Jose. The game will be broadcast on CBS, while CBS Sports platforms will surround the game with a substantial amount of pre and postgame coverage. But if you are looking for the best way to just watch the title game itself, we recommend a subscription to DIRECTV.

Why do we recommend watching 2025 NWSL Championship Game on DIRECTV?

DIRECTV carries CBS in a wide range of packages, starting with its Signature channel plans. These packages come with a normal starting price of $90 per month, but for a limited time, DIRECTV has discounted its Signature plans up to $40 — meaning the starting price of the service’s ENTERTAINMENT package is just $50 per month.

Either service will provide only the type of content mentioned in its name, letting you binge only the content you want without paying for channels you don’t want.

Either way, DIRECTV offers a five-day free trial to all new customers who sign up to receive their channel package through their own device. It’s the superior way to watch the NWSL Championship, no matter which plan you choose.
