What is a motorcycle club truly about? Is it the camaraderie of the open road, or is it the opportunity to make money though less-than-legal means? Those are the questions asked in “The Bikeriders,” the new drama available to stream on Peacock starting Friday, Aug. 9. It tells the story of a fictional motorcycle club, which evolves from a group of close-knit friends into something much more dangerous as it adds members and expands across the United States. You can watch “The Bikeriders” with a Subscription to Peacock.

About ‘The Bikeriders’
“The Bikeriders” follows the history of The Vandals motorcycle club, a fictionalized version of The Outlaws club that still exists today. The film centers on Johnny (Tom Hardy) and Benny (Austin Butler), and is told through the eyes of Benny’s wife Kathy (Jodie Comer). Johnny started the club after seeing the Marlin Brando movie “The Wild One,” and quickly convinced his friends to join up.
But as the years go by, The Vandals see significant changes. The club opens new chapters around the United States, and as more members join it begins to grow more and more violent. Before long, Johnny and Benny feel like the group they helped to create is falling apart around them, but there is seemingly little they can do as its new members increasingly turn to crime and violence to achieve their goals.
