Here is everything you need to know to stream Season 2 of ‘Based on a True Story’
The Westside Ripper is back (or is he?) in the comedy-crime series’ second season.
Kaley Cuoco has found her stride post “Big Bang Theory,” first with “The Flight Attendant” (Season 1 is awesome), and now with the returning dark comedy series, “Based on a True Story.” This was one of my favorite shows of 2023 (it lands No. 3 on my list of favorite comedy murder mystery TV shows on streaming), and I’m so happy it’s back. You can watch all eight episodes of the second season of “Based on a True Story” when it drops on Thursday, Nov. 21 on Peacock.

About ‘Based on a True Story’ Season 2
In the second season of “Based on a True Story,” Ava and Nathan Bartlett are adjusting to life as new parents. Ava is trying to leave her true crime obsession behind and get back into real estate, while Nathan focuses on coaching tennis. Their world is turned upside down when Ava’s sister, Tory, reveals she’s engaged to Matt Pierce—the Westside Ripper.
This shock to the system forces Ava and Nathan to confront their past with Matt – who claims he’s a “changed” man and no longer killing people. But when new murders start popping up, Ava and Nathan can’t help but wonder if he’s back to his old ways aka killing people. Watch it all with a subscription to Peacock.
