The Banks family returns for one last chapter as the story wraps on Peacock.
I grew up loving the original “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” Totally different vibe from what Peacock’s doing now, but the idea of reimagining that world as a grounded drama has always been interesting to me. What is ‘Bel-Air’ Season 4 about?
Season 4 finds Will stepping into senior year with a lot on his shoulders, trying to balance the excitement of what’s ahead with the pressure of why he came to Bel-Air in the first place. Carlton’s still dealing with the fallout from some big choices, and those decisions are starting to shape what his future might look like. Things get tense between Phil and Geoffrey as a shift inside the family tests a bond that’s always felt solid. Viv is taking a fresh look at motherhood and what she wants for herself moving forward. Ashley’s starting high school and pushing back a little as she figures out who she’s becoming. And Hilary’s on a personal reset, trying to understand what actually feels right for her next chapter.
How can you catch up with ‘Bel-Air’ before Season 4 drops?
If you’re behind or starting fresh, all three previous seasons of “Bel-Air” are streaming on Peacock. The show reimagines the classic sitcom as a character-driven drama that follows Will’s move from West Philadelphia to Bel-Air as he adapts to a new world of privilege, conflict, and family tension. Each season builds on the relationships inside the Banks’ home while pushing Will to figure out who he wants to be. With only three seasons to catch up on and eight episodes per season, you can get through it pretty quickly before the final chapter lands on Nov. 24.
