Since both teams are perennial Thanksgiving game participants, it is fitting that the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys will play on “Thursday Night Football” on Dec. 4. Both teams are stuck in the middle of their respective NFC divisions, fighting for playoff positioning. The Cowboys are at 6-5-1 with the Lions at 7-5. Detroit is currently the first team out of the NFC playoff picture, with Dallas one game behind them. So, this matchup will go a long way for the winner in terms of keeping their postseason hopes alive. The game is scheduled to kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET and will air on Prime Video. Fans in the Detroit and Dallas markets will be able to watch on their respective local Fox affiliates with a five-day free trial to DIRECTV.
