Everything we know so far about ‘Dungeon Crawler Carl’
What is ‘Dungeon Crawler Carl’?
“Dungeon Crawler Carl” is a sci-fi fantasy novel series written by author Matt Dinniman. It takes place in a world where alien invasion has devastated humanity, and survivors are forced to fight for their lives on an inhumane intergalactic game show.
Coast Guard veteran Carl finds himself stuck with his girlfriend’s award-winning showcat Princess Donut as they try to survive the apocalypse, all for the sake of good TV. They’d better make it entertaining, live or die!
When will the ‘Dungeon Crawler Carl’ TV series be released?
There is no release date for “Dungeon Crawler Carl” yet. The show is still in the early stages of production, so it’s almost guaranteed not to arrive on Peacock until at least 2027, if not later.
Who will star in the ‘Dungeon Crawler Carl’ TV series?
We don’t have a full cast list for “Dungeon Crawler Carl” on Peacock quite yet, but we do know one performer for the show. Voice actor Jeff Hays will portray the talking cat, Princess Donut, in the show. Hays is the narrator of the “Dungeon Crawler Carl” audiobook series, so fans will be quite familiar with him.
Who is producing the ‘Dungeon Crawler Carl’ series?
Chris Yost will write “Dungeon Crawler Carl” for Peacock; Yost’s past credits include “Thor: Ragnarok,” “Star Wars Rebels,” and many more. The show is being produced by Seth MacFarlane’s Fuzzy Door and Universal Global Television.
Will the ‘Dungeon Crawler Carl’ series be free to watch?
No, “Dungeon Crawler Carl” will not be free to watch. The show will be exclusive to Peacock, unless something major changes between now and its release date. Since Peacock does not have a free trial when signing up directly, fans will have to subscribe to the streamer’s Premium plan at $11 per month to watch. Viewers can currently get a seven-day free trial of the ad-free Peacock Premium Plus plan if they sign up for the service through Prime Video.
