About ‘Iliza Shlesinger: A Different Animal’

Taped at the Eccles Theater in Salt Lake City, Utah, “Iliza Shlesinger: A Different Animal” is Shlesinger’s Prime Video debut. The one-hour special is “a no-holds-barred, explosive, and relentlessly funny” look at the renowned comedian’s life and life at large with nothing off limits, “shower sex, ugly wives and the ideal man to the truth about the ONE thing no woman wants.”

This is Shlesinger’s first special since 2022’s “Hot Forever” on Netflix. She has released five other specials for the streamer: “Unveiled,” “War Paint,” “Freezing Hot,” “Confirmed Kills,” and “Elder Millennial.” She is currently wrapping up her Get Ready Tour this spring and will be announcing her 2025 tour soon.

What other comedy specials can I watch on Prime Video?

“A Different Animal” may be Schlesinger’s first for Prime Video, but the streamer already has many other comedy specials in its catalog, including “Jenny Slate: Seasoned Professional,” “Marlon Wayans: Good Grief,” “Jim Gaffigan: Noble Ape,” and several from the always bitingly relevant George Carlin, including “Life Is Worth Losing” and the Grammy-winning “It's Bad For Ya!”
