Can you watch ‘Ted Lasso’ Season 4 for free?
Yes, at least in part. Apple TV offers a seven-day free trial to all new users. So, if you want to watch the new episodes as they are released, you will only be able to stream one (or two, if you line up the timing properly), but you will have to pay to watch the rest of the season. Of course, if you wait until the season is over, you can use that free week to binge it all.
Additionally, Apple does offer longer free trials for purchasing Apple devices, so if you’ve recently purchased an Apple computer, iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch, you might get the opportunity to stream Apple TV for a full month without paying.
However, outside of these free trials, to watch “Ted Lasso” Season 4, you will need to sign up for an Apple TV subscription. The streamer only has one plan; it runs $13 per month, but has no ads.
Apple TV
Apple TV (formerly known as Apple TV+) is a subscription video streaming service for $14.99 per month, offering a growing slate of original series, films, documentaries, and specials. Unlike other platforms that combine licensed titles with originals, Apple TV is built entirely around exclusive programming, making it the home of critically acclaimed hits such as “Ted Lasso,” “Severance,” “The Morning Show,” and “Silo.” Its lineup continues to expand with award-winning dramas, comedies, family-friendly shows, and blockbuster original films like “CODA,” which won the Academy Award for Best Picture.

What Will ‘Ted Lasso’ Season 4 Be About?
Season 4 of the show will see Ted return to London to help coach the AFC Richmond women’s team. At the end of Season 3, Ted moves back to Kansas in order to be closer to his son, while AFC Richmond’s owner, Rebecca Welton (played by Waddingham) divests in the men’s club, giving fans ownership of the team, while also moving to establish a women’s version of the club.
Unsurprisingly, when Apple confirmed the series’ return, the streamer indicated that the show will feature vibes that fans will be familiar with.
“Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team,” Apple said. “Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.”

Who Will Be In ‘Ted Lasso’ Season 4?
The vast majority of the original “Ted Lasso” cast are set to return for the fourth season of the show. Jason Sudeikis will officially return as Ted, and Nick Mohammad has rearranged tour dates for his stage comedy show “Mr. Swallow: Show Pony” to film new episodes of “Ted Lasso.” Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift have all had their options for another season picked up as well. The returns of Brendan Hunt and Juno Temple have also been officially confirmed by Apple.
One cast member who will not be returning as a series regular is Phil Dunster. The actor who played Jamie Tartt was reportedly busy filming other projects during the period when the fourth season was shot. However, the door does appear to be open for Tartt to appear in a smaller role in Season 4. One of the show’s legacy characters will be recast for the new installment. In the first three seasons, Ted’s son Henry was played by Gus Turner. However, in Season 4, Henry will apparently feature more prominently in the story, likely helping explain why Ted is back in Richmond so soon. Henry will now be played by Grant Feely, and will be a skilled soccer player, potentially moving to the U.K. to get the best training possible.
New cast members that are joining the show’s fourth season include Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, and Abbie Hern.
