How to stream new thriller series ‘Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue’
Stranded in the jungle, the real danger isn’t the wilderness – it’s each other.
Nine bodies. Ten passports. One crashed plane. That’s the setup of “Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue,” the new MGM+ mystery thriller premiering Sunday, March 2, at 9 a.m. ET. I love a good murder mystery - whether it’s the playful twists of “Only Murders in the Building” or the dark, brooding intensity of “True Detective,” I can’t get enough. That’s why this one has me pumped. The series kicks off with a light aircraft crash in the Mexican jungle - miraculously, almost all the passengers survive. But as they fight the heat, the wild, and each other, they start dying in violent and mysterious ways. Don’t miss a moment of the mystery with a subscription to MGM+ through Prime Video.

About ‘Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue’
“Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue” looks like a high-stakes mystery where no one is safe, and everyone has something to hide. A plane crashes in the Mexican jungle, and at first, it seems like a miracle – almost everyone survives. But as they battle the brutal heat, dwindling supplies, and the dangers of the wild, they start dying one by one. Told in a flashback, the survivors have to figure out who - or what - is hunting them before it’s too late. Created by Anthony Horowitz (“Alex Rider,” “Magpie Murders”), the series blends survival drama with a classic whodunit, slowly unraveling each character’s secrets along the way. Starring Eric McCormack, David Ajala, and Siobhán McSweeney, “Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue” is shaping up to be a tense, paranoia-fueled thriller where every twist pulls you deeper into the mystery. If you love thrillers packed with deception, shifting alliances, and a killer reveal, this one should be on your watchlist.
What other TV mystery series can you watch on MGM+?
If you’re looking for more thrillers to watch on MGM+, the platform has plenty to offer beyond “Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue.” Whether you’re into eerie, supernatural mysteries like “From,” where a small town traps anyone who enters and lurking horrors emerge after dark, or espionage thrillers like “A Spy Among Friends,” which follows the real-life betrayal of British intelligence officer Kim Philby, there’s no shortage of suspense. And if crime dramas with a gritty, historical edge are more your speed, “Hotel Cocaine” takes you deep into the Miami drug trade of the 1980s, following the high-stakes world of crime, power, and deception. Subscription to MGM+ starts at $7 per month via Prime Video.
