An idyllic getaway turns into a nightmare in Blumhouse’s latest psychological horror thriller.

You can watch the horror thriller "Speak No Evil" with a subscription to Peacock.

One of the huge benefits of a Peacock subscription is that it’s the exclusive streaming home for Universal movies - including terrifying Blumhouse pictures - shortly after their theatrical release… which means you don’t have to wait very long to watch James McAvoy terrorize his guests in the psychological horror thriller “Speak No Evil,” premiering on Friday, Dec. 6. The story follows Ben and Louise, an American couple, who bring their daughter to a British couple’s country estate for what seems like a perfect getaway. But things take a dark turn when they realize their hosts have sinister secrets. Watch “Speak No Evil” with a subscription to Peacock.

About ‘Speak No Evil’

Written and directed by James Watkins, “Speak No Evil” tells the story of an American family - Ben Dalton (Scoot McNairy), his wife Louise (Mackenzie Davis), and their daughter Agnes (Alix West Lefler) - who befriends a British couple, Paddy (James McAvoy) and Ciara (Aisling Franciosi), along with their mute son, Ant (Dan Hough), during a vacation in Italy. Invited to spend a weekend at Paddy and Ciara’s remote countryside home, the Daltons initially enjoy the visit, but unease sets in as their hosts’ true intentions begin to surface.

What starts as a friendly getaway turns into a nightmare they might not survive. The film is a remake of the 2022 Danish-Dutch film of the same name directed by Christian Tafdrup.

When will the movie ‘Speak No Evil’ be released?

You can watch the movie on Peacock at 12:01 a.m. ET on Friday, Dec. 6. Perhaps because Comcast is headquartered in Philadelphia, Peacock releases nearly all of its new titles at midnight Eastern time on the day of release, as opposed to Pacific time like many of its streaming competitors.

Are you able to stream ‘Speak No Evil’ for free?

Unfortunately, Peacock does not offer a free trial, so if you want to stream the thriller, you will need to sign up for a subscription to the NBCU platform. The good news is that Peacock has a fairly affordable pricing plan. The streamer’s ad-supported Premium tier runs $8 per month while the ad-free Premium Plus is $14 monthly.

With Peacock, you also get access to high-quality original shows and movies including acclaimed reboot “Bel-Air,” popular murder-mystery series “Poker Face,” and dramas like “Mrs. Davis” and “Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist.”
