The Golden State Warriors’ superstar guard Steph Curry is taking on a new role: actor in a hit comedy series! Curry will be a headliner on the new series “Mr. Throwback,” which will premiere Thursday, Aug. 8 on Peacock. The series follows a sports memorabilia seller who has run through his inventory, and decides to turn to his old friend Steph for help. Viewers will be able to stream the show exclusively with a Subscription to Peacock.

About ‘Mr. Throwback’
Danny Grossman was one of the most phenomenal middle school basketball players to ever lace up his sneakers. But that was a long time ago, and things are very different for Danny nowadays.
As an adult, Danny is little more than a salesman with nothing to sell. He’s a sports memorabilia dealer, which means his customers show him little respect, and he stands a good chance of being robbed. Reaching the bottom of the barrel, Danny turns to his old teammate Steph for help, even if the basketball star is a little busy these days…
