Everything you need to know about TGL golf
Why we chose Sling TV to watch TGL
Monday’s events are on ESPN2, which is included in the Sling Orange plan, so if you’re just looking to watch the TGL and don’t need much else, Sling TV is a great option as you won’t be stuck with extra channels you don’t need. For a limited time, you can also get your first month at 50% off, so it will run you just $23 for your first month before returning to the regular $46 per month subscription price. With Sling Orange, you’ll also have access to great content from ESPN, TBS, TNT, CNN, and more.
This means that not only will you save on Monday’s events, but you will be able to watch the rest of the TGL regular season and playoffs for 50% off. While Sling doesn’t offer a free-trial, this is still by far the cheapest way to watch the remaining TGL action.
Can you stream TGL Golf for free?
If you want to test the waters of the TGL without paying, you can go with one of the live TV streaming services that offer a free trial. Four of the major live streamers offer access to ESPN and ESPN2, the channels that will carry the rest of the season’s action. Hulu + Live TV offers a three-day free trial, which will allow you to check out this week’s action. If you are looking for the longest reliable trial, DIRECTV STREAM is your best bet as it offers an industry-leading trial for five days guaranteed.
Those are pretty straightforward, but when it comes to the sports-minded streamer Fubo, things can get a little complicated. As The Streamable’s expert David Satin discovered when signing up for the services, figuring out how long Fubo’s trial is — even as you are signing up — can be a bit difficult. Nonetheless, it will be at least one day, with the potential to be as many as seven, depending on a wide range of factors that Fubo does not share publicly.
The YouTube TV trial is said to be “up to two weeks,” but can be as short as two days. So it is difficult to ascertain what you are actually getting before you go through the signup process.

What is the TGL?
Founded by golf legends Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, TGL matches pit teams of three against each other for 15 holes — nine of which are team play followed by six of single match play. Played indoors at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, players use an oversized — and over-teched — next-gen golf simulator that features a giant screen, multiple terrain types, and a putting green that morphs and rotates to be a precise recreation of real-life greens. Additions include a 40-second shot clock, timeouts, overtime, and “hammer” — a throw-down that gives teams an extra point value on a selected hole.
TGL teams include Atlanta Drive GC, Boston Common Golf Club, Jupiter Links Golf Club, Los Angeles Golf Club, New York Golf Club, and The Bay Golf Club. Justin Thomas, Hideki Matsuyama, Rickie Fowler, Tiger Woods, and Shane Lowry are among the big names taking part.
