How to watch UConn vs. USC Women’s NCAA Tournament Elite 8 Game on March 31, 2025

How to watch UConn vs. USC Women’s NCAA Tournament Elite 8 Game on March 31, 2025

March Madness is underway, and no streamer has more hoops coverage than Hulu + Live TV.

With a background in sports and entertainment reporting, he’s covered everything from Broadway to college football. He cut the cord in 2014 and has a sharp eye for streaming trends and a soft spot for Hallmark movies.

The last spot in the 2025 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament Final 4 will be on the line on Monday, March 31 as the No. 2 UConn Huskies take on the No. 1 USC Trojans. The two teams will meet up at 9 p.m. ET in a game airing on ESPN. The Final 4 in the men’s tournament consists of all four No. 1 seeds, and if Texas and USC win on Monday night, the same will be true on the women’s side as well. If you are looking for a live TV streaming service to watch this game and all of the March Madness, I recommend watching with a subscription to Hulu + Live TV.

How to watch UConn vs. USC

Everything you need to know to stream UConn vs. USC

Why we recommend Hulu + Live TV to watch UConn vs. USC

Simply put, there is no better place to watch postseason college basketball than Hulu + Live TV. Not only does the service provide access to every game of the Men’s and Women’s NCAA Basketball Tournament, but the hoops don’t stop there, as Hulu + Live TV will also carry every game of the NIT and Crown Basketball Tournament.

Hulu + Live TV is a hoops haven during March and April as the best teams look to cut down the nets. But what makes the streamer such an incredible option for cord-cutters is the unbelievable value that it provides that no other service can compete with. In addition to all of the broadcast and cable channels that you need to catch the tournaments, it also comes with the entire Disney Bundle at no additional cost.

That means that you will get access to the entire Hulu on-demand library, all of Disney+, and, especially important for sports fans ESPN+ completely free. Hulu + Live TV also offers a three-day free trial, so you can check out the service and all of its benefits without having to pay a penny; you can watch a lot of March Madness games in three days.

Hulu Live TV

Hulu Live TV is a live TV streaming service with more than 70 channels for $89.99 per month. Hulu + Live TV base plan includes local channels 32 of the top 35 cable channels, and regional sports networks (RSNs). Subscribers get free access to Disney+ and ESPN Select at no extra charge.

…

Where it really separates itself is value. Your subscription doesn’t just cover live TV — it also includes full access to Hulu’s on-demand library, plus bundled subscriptions to Disney+ and ESPN Select content at no extra cost. That means you’re getting everything from next-day network TV episodes and Hulu Originals, to Marvel, Star Wars, and live sports content all in one place without juggling multiple bills.

For sports fans, Hulu + Live TV also includes regional sports networks (RSNs) in select areas, a feature many competing services have dropped. That can be a big deal if you’re trying to follow local MLB, NBA, or NHL teams.

The DVR experience is another strong point. Subscribers get unlimited cloud DVR storage and the ability to fast-forward through commercials on recorded content — a feature that used to cost extra but is now standard. It’s designed to feel closer to a traditional cable DVR, just without the box.

If you want to customize further, several add-ons are available. You can upgrade to premium channels like HBO, Showtime, or Starz, add an unlimited streams option for households with lots of viewers, or go ad-free on Hulu’s on-demand content (live TV will still include ads).

Overall, Hulu + Live TV is less about being the cheapest option and more about being the most comprehensive. It’s built for people who want live TV, on-demand shows, and bundled streaming services all under one roof — without having to piece everything together themselves.

Can you watch UConn vs. USC for free?

If you are just looking for a streaming service to watch this specific game and nothing else, there are options available for you. We’ve already discussed Hulu + Live TV’s free trial DIRECTV STREAM, Fubo, and YouTube TV all offer free trials, but they vary in length, so be wary. DIRECTV STREAM’s industry-leading trial runs for five days is a solid option if you are just looking to get as many games for free as possible.

While DIRECTV’s trial is pretty straightforward, the others aren’t. When it comes to the sports-minded streamer Fubo, things can get a little complicated. As The Streamable’s expert David Satin discovered when signing up for the services, figuring out how long Fubo’s trial is — even as you are signing up — can be a bit difficult. Nonetheless, it will be at least one day, with the potential to be as many as seven, depending on a wide range of factors that Fubo does not share publicly.

The YouTube TV trial is said to be “up to two weeks,” but can be as short as two days. So it is difficult to ascertain what you are actually getting before you go through the signup process.

If you are looking to watch the game for free, I would recommend DIRECTV STREAM, because that streamer has the longest guaranteed free trial.

What are all of the streamers you can use to watch UConn vs. USC?

Fortunately for basketball fans, there are six different streaming services that will stream the UConn vs. USC game, so you have options to choose from if you don’t already subscribe to any of them. We discussed Hulu + Live TV and the free trial options above, but there are a couple of other options worth discussing.

When it comes to finding a live TV streaming service that has the channels that you want most, but won’t break the bank, Sling TV is always one of our favorite options here at The Streamable. While it doesn’t carry all of the options that its competitors do, Sling does offer many of the most popular broadcast and cable channels, and for much less than many of the other live TV streaming services on the market.

You can sign up for a plan that includes all of the ESPN channels for just $46 per month, but currently, you can get your first month of service for just $23, which will cover the rest of March Madness. Admittedly, Sling does not come with a free trial, so if your goal is just to watch the UConn vs. USC game as cheaply as possible, you should probably go with one of the options offering a trial. But, if you are looking to stream the rest of the tournament, Sling TV definitely deserves consideration.

Sling TV

Sling TV is The Streamable’s choice for cord-cutters on a budget. Sling is a live TV streaming service with multiple channel packages. The $45.99/month Sling Orange plan offers about 30 channels, including Disney Channel and ESPN. The $45.99/month Sling Blue plan offers about 40 channels, including ABC, Fox, and NBC in major markets.

You can combine Orange+Blue for a total of $60.99 / month. Sling also offers many channel add-on packages starting at $6/month.

If you are looking to find a long-term streaming service and want to avoid the potential of having to pay more if price hikes strike, then DIRECTV via Internet is your best bet. Packages start as low as $70 per month and come with a two-year price guarantee. This, of course, locks you into a two-year contract, but with prices increasing fairly regularly, it is understandable why this would be an attractive offer to many people.

Ultimately, there are tons of different ways to stream the game, and while we recommend Hulu + Live TV as the best way to stream all of the college and pro basketball season, you have plenty of options to find the platform that meets your needs.

DIRECTV Via Internet

DIRECTV via Internet was a live TV streaming service that delivered the full DIRECTV experience over the internet — no satellite dish required. It included local channels and many of the top cable channels. New subscribers could get a free Gemini streaming device that functions like a traditional cable or satellite box.

…

Now, DIRECTV via Internet is no longer a separate service — it has been fully integrated into the main DIRECTV service. Whether you choose satellite or internet delivery, it’s now simply called DIRECTV.
