What is ‘Upload’ Season 4 about?
“Upload” Season 4 picks up right after that huge cliffhanger, with everyone wondering which Nathan actually survived. Horizen’s getting more dangerous than ever, and their new sentient AI has gone rogue, threatening to wipe out Lakeview… and maybe the entire world. Nathan, Nora, Ingrid, Luke, and Aleesha have to team up for one final mission to stop them, but it’s not just about saving humanity. They’re still dealing with heartbreak, jealousy, and all the messy feelings that come with having two versions of the same guy running around.
Things aren’t looking great for our crew, either. Horizen isn’t done covering up secrets, and they’ll do whatever it takes to stay in control, including destroying backup copies of uploads. Nora’s struggling with her own future after giving up her shot at law school, and Ingrid’s torn between finally being an ally or looking out for herself. With everything falling apart both in Lakeview and in real life, this last season is set to be the most intense yet, and it all comes down to whether they can put their differences aside long enough to stop Horizen before it’s too late.

What happened at the end of ‘Upload’ Season 3?
Spoiler Alert: There are spoilers below for Season 3 of ‘Upload.’
Season 3 of “Upload” goes out with one of its biggest cliffhangers yet. Real Nathan and backup Nathan finally come face to face, and for a moment, it feels like things might actually work out. The two versions of Nathan agree to keep their relationships separate — real Nathan stays with Nora, and backup Nathan stays with Ingrid. But happiness doesn’t last long. Ingrid accidentally reveals in court that there are two Nathans, which puts both of them in danger. Real Nathan is arrested by Horizen agents, while backup Nathan is captured inside Lakeview by the company’s CEO, who orders all copies of uploads destroyed.
The final scene leaves everyone guessing. Nora, Ingrid, Viv, and Mauricio are anxiously waiting for news when a call finally comes through. Nathan appears on screen, sitting in a gray holding room, telling them he’s okay… but adds there’s only one Nathan left now because the other has been “destroyed.” Nora’s face says it all when she asks, “Which Nathan are you?” before the call cuts off. Whether it’s real Nathan or backup Nathan who survived is still up in the air, and with Horizen’s shady plans moving forward, the stakes have never been higher heading into Season 4.
Who stars in ‘Upload’?
The main cast of “Upload” is all back for the final season. Robbie Amell returns as Nathan, the guy stuck between two worlds (and, well, two versions of himself), while Andy Allo is back as Nora, still caught up in both the fight against Horizen and her complicated love life. Allegra Edwards plays Ingrid, who’s finally starting to show a softer side, and Kevin Bigley brings the laughs again as Luke. Zainab Johnson returns as Aleesha, and Owen Daniels is back as the fan-favorite A.I. Guy.
There’s also a new face this season, with Lee Majdoub joining in a recurring role that’s still under wraps. Whether he’s a friend or foe is a mystery for now, but with Horizen getting more dangerous, expect him to shake things up in a big way.
How can you watch previous seasons of ‘Upload’?
Catching up is simple — “Upload” is only streaming on Prime Video. All three previous seasons are available now, so you can start from the beginning and see how Nathan ended up in Lakeview, how his relationship with Nora got so complicated, and what set up that big Season 3 cliffhanger before the final season drops.
