Milwaukee Bucks Announce Schedule of 10 Games to Air on Over-the-Air Broadcast Channel
WMLW will host 10 Bucks contests between now and the end of the 2023-24 NBA regular season.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks are bucking cable, for 10 games anyway. The Bucks are joining the New Orleans Pelicans, Dallas Mavericks, and other NBA squads in offering a small package of games on local, over-the-air broadcast channels that are free to receive. The games kick off on local channels in just over three weeks.
- The Bucks will play on WLMW, an independent Milwaukee station.
- Highlights of the 10-game schedule include games against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Lakers, and Boston Celtics.
- Fans without a cable subscription will find WMLW on DIRECTV STREAM.

Which Bucks Games Are Headed to Free Broadcast Channels?
Starting Friday, Feb. 23, the Bucks will play a series of 10 games on WMLW, a free broadcast channel not affiliated with any of the four major broadcast networks. It’s all thanks to the NBA’s current broadcasting deal with Bally Sports, which airs in-market games for 15 teams, including the Bucks. That deal allows each team encompassed by it to play a package of games on local channels this season; the San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Mavericks, New Orleans Pelicans, and Atlanta Hawks have all taken advantage of the opportunity so far.
Highlights of the Bucks’ schedule of games headed to broadcast TV in Milwaukee include the Feb. 23 matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves, one of the top teams in the Western Conference. LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers will face the Bucks on WMLW on March 8, and on March 20 the Bucks will take on their Eastern Conference rivals the Boston Celtics, in what’s sure to be a must-watch contest.
One of the games will air simultaneously on WMLW’s sister station CBS 58, and another will also air on Telemundo WI. Check out the full schedule of Bucks games airing on broadcast channels this season below.
