But just what is NBA League Pass, and what can it be used to stream for cord-cutting followers of the NBA? Check out our breakdown below!

What Is NBA League Pass? What Games Can You Stream on It?

NBA League Pass is the league’s out-of-market platform for watching games not available in local markets on broadcast or cable channels. If you’re a fan of the Boston Celtics but you live in Los Angeles, for example, League Pass will allow you to watch every Celtics game, as long as they aren’t playing on local Los Angeles channels.

One important thing to keep in mind with an NBA League Pass subscription: nationally-televised games on TNT, ABC, or ESPN are not available to watch with the service.

How Much Does NBA League Pass Cost?

NBA League Pass has two pricing tiers. Its cheaper option is $99.99 per season ($14.99 per month), and allows users to watch games either live or on-demand, with one simultaneous stream. This option also gives users a 24/7 stream of NBA TV, giving them access to highlights and analysis from across the league.

The next tier of NBA League Pass removes commercials from the equation, even for live NBA games. This plan costs $149.99 per season ($22.99 per month) and bumps the number of simultaneous streams allowed from one to three, as well as granting users access to in-arena streams.

Does NBA League Pass Offer Single-Team Plans?

Yes, users can subscribe to a single-team version of NBA League Pass with commercials for $89.99 per season.

Is There a Free Trial of NBA League Pass?

Yes, NBA League Pass offers a seven-day free trial to all new customers.

Can You Cancel NBA League Pass at Any Time?

Yes, you can cancel your NBA League Pass whenever you wish, and you won’t have to pay for the rest of the season if you cancel partway through.

What Devices Can You Use to Stream NBA League Pass?

NBA League Pass is available to stream on most devices, including Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, Roku, Android TV, iPhone/iPad, Android Phone/Tablet, Mac, Windows, PlayStation, Xbox, and Sony Smart TV
