Paramount+ has revealed when fans can expect to see 'The Madison'

Taylor Sheridan’s latest series “Landman” just dropped its Season 2 finale on Sunday, and the multi-hyphenate creator is already preparing to premiere his next series on Paramount+. After months of anticipation, fans now know exactly when they can expect to see Sheridan’s newest series set in the “Yellowstone” universe to premiere.

Key Details:

  • Madison in March: “The Madison” will premiere on Paramount+ on March 14.
  • Big headliners: The show stars Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russel.
  • On the way out: Sheridan is moving to NBCUniversal once his overall deal with Paramount expires.

“The Madison” will arrive on Paramount+ on Saturday, March 14. The first season of the show will consist of six episodes, and it’s almost certain to receive a weekly release model, as most other Paramount+ shows do. The company did not announce any plans to air episodes of the series on Paramount Network, but it could still do so at a later time.

As previously revealed, “The Madison” will star Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russel as its leads. The series will also feature Beau Garrett, Elle Chapman, Patrick J. Adams, Amiah Miller, Alaina Pollack, Ben Schnetzer, Kevin Zegers, Rebecca Spence, Danielle Vasinova, and Matthew Fox.

The show will introduce viewers to the Clyburn family, and will offer a “heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana.” Paramount calls “The Madison” a “profound love story,” and also labels the show as Sheridan’s “most intimate work to date.”

“The Madison” is set in the same on-screen universe as “Yellowstone,” though it’s not clear what — if any — connective tissue it will have with the Kevin Costner-led series. Given Paramount’s description of the new show, it will likely feature far less in the way of high-stakes family showdowns and gunplay than other Sheridan titles, but only time will tell.

Viewers will be able to watch “The Madison” with a subscription to either Paramount+ plan, starting with the Essential plan at $9 per month. Sheridan has a ton of content coming to Paramount platforms in the next few years, but starting in 2029, he will be taking his talents to NBCUniversal after the expiration of his deal with Paramount.
