Looking for the Peacock Black Friday deal? Here’s how you can (kind of) still get it
Is a Black Friday tradition gone for good?
Just like turkey, stuffing, and pumpkin pie, the Peacock Black Friday deal was becoming a holiday tradition. Last year, Peacock offered a full year of service for just $20; the year before, it was just $2 per month for 12 months. If you’re looking for the Peacock Black Friday deal for 2025, however, you probably won’t find it.
Everything you need to know about Peacock on Black Friday:
While other providers like Paramount+, HBO Max, and Disney+ have all dropped sweet Black Friday offerings, there’s no such deal in sight for anyone holding out for a discount Peacock subscription this year.
Don’t forget to cancel!
First off, if you did grab the Peacock annual plan last year, but aren’t ready to shell out the full price for another 12 months, you might want to cancel before it’s too late (if it’s not already be too late!). If you don’t, you’ll end up paying full price for the upcoming year, which you may not want. I’m sure many were holding out for a fresh deal to keep going through 2026, but no such luck.
We have heard that some users who signed up last year have tried to cancel but were presented with a renewal offer for $40 for another 12 months; however, your results may vary.
What can you do instead?
If you really want Peacock, there’s still one way to get it a bit cheaper. To do so, you’ll need to sign up for a Walmart+ plan for $49 for the next year, and as one of your included perks, you can then sign up for an ad-free plan of Peacock or Paramount+ to go along with it — no extra charge. That means you’ll only be paying for Walmart+, but you’ll also get a free streaming service as part of the deal.
Will the deal be back in 2026?
With no Peacock deal for 2025 — and many saddened potential subscribers — there’s no telling if the deal will rise from the ashes next year, but we can certainly hope. The Peacock Black Friday deal was one that cord-cutters everywhere have been looking forward to, but are getting the equivalent of coal in their Thanksgiving stockings instead.
