Are you able to pull a title from Continue Watching on Peacock?

Are you able to pull a title from Continue Watching on Peacock?

Peacock doesn’t make it as easy to remove a show or movie from Continue Watching as some other streamers, but it is possible.

Known for breaking major streaming stories, he’s covered everything from Netflix policy shifts to Peacock’s ad-tier changes. A sci-fi fan and Toshiba Fire TV user, he brings sharp analysis and a love for the genre to his reporting.

Removing a TV show or movie from the Continue Watching section of a streaming service is mostly a simple process. But some streamers make it more difficult than others, whether because they think viewers will use the streamer less if they don’t feel anchored to specific titles, or for any reason.

Peacock is one such streamer that makes it hard to pull a show or movie from Continue Watching. It’s not impossible to do, however, and I tested the streamer’s methods to see how you can get a show out of the Continue Watching section if you want to.

What you need to know about removing a show or movie from Continue Watching on Peacock

How to remove titles from Continue Watching on Peacock mobile app

Peacock’s mobile app is the most traditional way to remove a show or movie from your Continue Watching row. When using the Peacock app for Android, I was able to scroll to the Continue Watching section and click a three-dot menu that appeared in the corner of the show or movie tile. This will pull up the option to remove that show or movie from the section.

Since I don’t own an iPhone, I was unable to test this procedure on iOS devices. It may only be available for select mobile phones, so if you don’t see the option when using the Peacock app on your mobile device, you may not be able to use this method.

Can you remove titles from Continue Watching on Peacock TV app, web?

The procedure I described above for removing a show or movie from Continue Watching on the Peacock app on mobile is not available on the web or connected TV devices. If you want to pull a show from the Continue Watching section on these devices, you’ll have to follow a more analog process.

In either case, you must begin playback on a given title and use the progress bar to fast-forward all the way to the end. If the title in question is a TV show, you’ll have to find the last episode in Peacock’s library before skipping to the end of playback if you want it banished from your Continue Watching row.

Does removing a show from Continue Watching on Peacock’s mobile app pull it on other platforms?

Yes, if you remove a show or movie from Continue Watching using the Peacock mobile app shortcut, it will no longer appear there on any of the other platforms you can use to watch the streamer.

Can you hide titles you haven’t watched yet from the Peacock home page?

No. Peacock makes it hard enough to pull a show or movie from your Continue Watching section on its interface, and there is no way to remove a title from the streamer’s home screen on any version of its app.
