Need a new streaming device? Check out these great deals before it’s too late!

As a cord-cutter since 2010, he’s spent over 15 years covering tech and streaming for sites like TechRadar, Tom’s Guide, and CrackBerry. He also has a soft spot for '80s movies.

If you’re in the market for new streaming hardware, some great deals are currently available. Walmart is offering my favorite streaming device, the Roku Express 4K+, for just $24 — a $16 savings. Target also has the Amazon Fire TV Stick HD at $10 off, making it just $25. So, you have multiple options to save some money, but be sure to act fast, though, as these deals won’t stick around for ong!

How to get these deals

  • Head to either Walmart or Target to choose your desired device.
  • Click Add to Cart
  • Enter your details, shipping, and payment info, and then finalize the transaction.

With both of these devices, you’ll have access to many great streaming apps, including Netflix, Disney+, Max, Fubo, Hulu, and more. Roku is my personal favorite as it not only keeps you out of more locked-in ecosystems like Amazon or Google, but also gives you access to a wide array of around-the-clock free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels as well. One gripe I have is that it’s kind of a crapshoot as to what quick access buttons you’ll have on your remote, so if you don’t use Disney+, for example, you might end up stuck with a button that you will never actually use.

On the flipside, the Amazon Fire TV Stick HD is the brand’s latest model and a great option for cord-cutters who are tied into all things Amazon. If you use Prime Video as a main source of content, this device will simplify and expedite that process for you. Amazon’s streaming devices may soon be supercharged as well with a new AI-powered Alexa on the way. Again, you’ll have access to plenty of streaming apps and also be able to access you’re full Prime Video library.

You’ll need to act fast, though, as these deals certainly won’t last. The pricing for these deals is online-only, but you should be able to pick up either device at your local store should you have that option.
