What you need to know about watching local sports and RSNs with Sling TV
Can you watch local sports with Sling TV?
Sling TV does indeed offer some local sports access. Viewers can watch any local sporting events on ABC, Fox, or NBC with select Sling packages in a limited number of markets. The streamer doesn’t carry these local channels everywhere, nor does it carry CBS or The CW anywhere.
Local channels are found in Sling’s Blue package and the Sling Select plan. The Blue package starts at $46 per month, and its focus is on news and entertainment networks, with options like Bravo, CNN, Fox News, MS NOW, and more in a bundle of around 40 channels. Sling Select has only 10+ channels, but includes locals in all markets in which they are available, and costs just $20 per month. Receiving local channels with Sling includes a surcharge of between $5 and $10 per month, depending on how many channels you get.
Viewers can also bundle Sling Blue with Sling Orange, and Sling Select with the Sling Essentials package.

Does Sling TV have RSNs?
No, there is no regional sports network access with Sling TV. The streamer does not carry RSNs in any American market, either in its base channel packages or any of its add-on plans. The streamer has some local and national sports access, but RSNs are nowhere to be found.
Which streamers offer local sports and RSNs?
If you’re looking for a live TV streaming service that includes all local sports channels and RSNs, there are a couple of options available. DIRECTV and Fubo carry a wide range of RSNs from around the United States; DIRECTV includes them alongside local broadcast channels in all Signature packages starting with the CHOICE plan, and RSNs can be added to the MySports Genre Pack for an additional fee. Fubo has RSNs and local channels in its Pro and Elite plans, and they can be added on to the Fubo Sports service.
Hulu + Live TV and YouTube TV don’t have a large selection of RSNs, but both streamers offer ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC in nearly every American TV market. Hulu + Live TV has just one channel package, but YouTube TV includes local channels in a variety of plans.
