Sling TV Offers New Deal: $30 per Month for 3 Months When You Prepay
Sling TV is my go-to service when I need live TV. Its flexible channel lineups offer plenty to watch at a better price than any competitor. Right now, you can get Sling as low as $30/month when you pay for three months in advance.
What Does the Sling TV Deal Get You?
While Sling offers as many as 143 channels, this deal is locked to Sling Blue, which gives you 43 channels.
Some of the important channels you get include A&E, AMC, BET, Bravo, Cartoon Network, CNN, Comedy Central, Discovery, E!, Food Network, Fox News, FX, HGTV, History, Investigation Discovery, Lifetime, MSNBC, Syfy, TBS, TLC, TNT, Travel Channel, truTV, and USA Network.
You’ll get a free 50-hour DVR and you can stream on three devices at once.
You won’t get a better price on this channel lineup. We checked.
If you want access to channels like Disney Channel, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, Freeform, and MotorTrend Network, those are available on the Sling Orange package. You can choose to bundle Blue and Orange, though you’d lose the discount. Another option is to try the standard Sling intro offer: 50% off your first month.
Is Sling TV a Good Service?
Yes! It’s my go-to choice for sports because it’s so much cheaper than every other service. The downside is that you may not be able to access ABC, Fox, and NBC, since those are available in limited markets. You can’t watch CBS with Sling TV, but I have an antenna connected to a HDHomerun so I can stream all my local channels.
If you need CBS, just subscribe to Paramount+ with SHOWTIME and you’ll get access to your live, local CBS affiliate.
I use Sling TV to watch NFL RedZone, which is my favorite way to keep up with my fantasy football team.
I wish the DVR were unlimited, but I mostly use Sling to watch sports and news, and 50 hours is more than sufficient for that. You can choose to pay to upgrade the DVR if you need it.
Why Should You Choose Sling TV Over Others?
It boils down to price. If money is no object, I prefer the huge channel lineup of DIRECTV STREAM or the huge entertainment bundle that comes free with Hulu Live TV.
But Sling stands alone with its flexible channel options and superior price. Just consult our Service Matchmaker tool to be sure you’re getting the streaming service that has all the channels you need.
Does Sling TV Have a Free Trial?
No. Sling’s lowest price comes with the 50% off one-month trial. If you think you’ll watch longer than 30 days, the price is better with this 3-month prepaid option.
