College and pro football playoffs, more to stream this week
It’s a big week for sports fans around various streaming services this week, and we’ll give you our recommendations for the best titles to stream here!
Last week was a tough one to keep up with — at least as far as new streaming titles! New episodes of “The Pitt” and “The Traitors,” the premieres of “Star Trek: Starfleet Academy” and “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms,” and the continuation of the NFL playoffs no doubt kept viewers pretty busy throughout the week.
Does that mean that this week’s release schedule will be a little more bare, or will it be just as packed with new premieres? See all our top streams of the week in our customary list below!

‘Mel Brooks: The 99 Year Old Man!’ limited series premiere | HBO Max
Pardon my editorializing for a moment, but it feels very difficult not to like Mel Brooks. When watching a Brooks comedy, the man’s overriding desire to make others laugh is so evident, and feels like it comes from such a selfless place, that you can’t help but admire him even if his films aren’t your favorite.

‘Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere’ streaming debut | Hulu
The Streamable was able to predict the exact release date for this biopic, which makes its way to Hulu like all 20th Century Studios films once they are no longer exclusive to theaters and digital rental platforms like Prime Video. The film stars Jeremy Allen White as the hall-of-fame rocker in one of the turning points of his career.
“Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere” follows Springsteen through the creation of his sixth studio album, “Nebraska,” a deep exploration of the rocker’s own emotions. The movie delves into the societal influences and familial turbulence that led Springsteen through the process of compiling one of his most memorable works of all time.

NFL Championship Sunday | CBS and Fox, watch with a five-day free trial of DIRECTV
The AFC Championship game could have been packed with storylines. Two quarterbacks from the 2024 NFL Draft will go head-to-head, a renewal of the playoff rivalry between the Denver Broncos and the New England Patriots. With quarterback Bo Nix suffering an injury near the end of the Broncos’ game against the Bills, the storylines won’t be quite so juicy, but this is still the game that decides whether Pats QB Drake May will cap his season with a Super Bowl appearance.
DIRECTV
DIRECTV is one of The Streamable’s top choices for the best live TV streaming service overall in 2026, especially for users who want the most channels or want to watch the most live sports. With an unbeatable lineup of local, news, sports, and entertainment channels, three main signature packages, an unlimited DVR, and 20 simultaneous streams at home, DIRECTV remains a premier choice for any cord-cutter.
In the NFC Championship game, it’s a question of whether or not anyone can stand up to the Seattle Seahawks. They’ve been the conference’s newest bully on the block all season long, and they have just one contest left before the big game. But they’ll face a familiar opponent in the Los Angeles Rams, and this game will assuredly come down to the wire.
