A new ‘Fantastic 4’ movie is making its way to streaming as well, and there are more great titles to ease you into November.
When last week ended, it was a whole other month. What gives?? And to top it all off, this weekend was the end of daylight saving in places where it’s observed. If you’re anything like me, that extra hour of sleep takes a little shaking off, and the work week being here isn’t helping matters.
Your old friend TV is here to help ease back into the routine, however, and we’ve assembled our usual list of new TV shows and movies to stream every day this week. Check out the titles we recommend to get you back to action here!

‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ streaming premiere | Disney+
I will go ahead and take a tiny little victory lap here, as I predicted the streaming premiere date of the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe title to the day all the way back in July. This latest iteration of “The Fantastic Four” sees the titular superhero team in a retro-futuristic setting that has drawn near-universal praise from critics.
The film picks up in a world where the Fantastic Four are the only superheroes on Earth, and have worked hard to balance their roles as protectors with their family bond. Their peace is shattered by a ravenous being from space named Galactus, and his mysterious herald, the Silver Surfer.

‘Pluribus’ series premiere | Apple TV
Vince Gilligan has been playing things cool since the end of “Better Call Saul,” but now he’s back with his newest TV show, “Pluribus” on Apple TV. The series centers on a historical romance author named Carol, seemingly the only person on Earth who didn’t catch a virus that inexplicably transformed every other human on the planet into an incurable optimist.
There’s something off about the world now. Carol can feel it, but nobody else in the world seems to care — they’re just too darn happy. And the more everyone else tries to convince Carol they just want to make her as happy as they are, the more paranoid she becomes, until she is determined to put things back the way they were.

‘Christmas Above the Clouds’ original movie premiere | Hallmark Channel, stream with a seven-day free trial of Philo
Erin Krakow and Tyler Hynes are back together again in this latest Countdown to Christmas original. “Christmas Above the Clouds” is a hilarious, modern retelling of “A Christmas Carol” which takes place over 30,000 feet off the ground. Krakow stars as a workaholic CEO who tries to say Humbug to Christmas by jetting off to Australia.
But when the flight gets underway, she is confronted by ghosts from her past, present, and future. They force her to face the choices that have led to her successful, yet lonely life as a powerhouse executive. Luckily, though, these Christmas sprites may just be able to help her reunite with the love she thought she’d lost forever.

Atlanta Falcons vs. Indianapolis Colts | NFL Network, watch with a subscription to Sling TV Select
The Atlanta Falcons have admittedly been a little bit of a mess at times this season, but with a young core of pass rushers and a quarterback in Michael Penix who may return to game action this week, there is still plenty to like about the potential for this squad’s future as it enters a Week 10 tilt against the Colts in Berlin.
Sling TV
Sling TV is The Streamable’s choice for cord-cutters on a budget. Sling is a live TV streaming service with multiple channel packages. The $45.99/month Sling Orange plan offers about 30 channels, including Disney Channel and ESPN. The $45.99/month Sling Blue plan offers about 40 channels, including ABC, Fox, and NBC in major markets.
You can combine Orange+Blue for a total of $60.99 / month. Sling also offers many channel add-on packages starting at $6/month.
Anyone who has watched the Colts play this year knows this team — quite inexplicably for a squad that entered the season with such a seemingly low ceiling at quarterback — is for real. Daniel Jones has been torching teams left and right all season, and it’s become fascinating to watch week after week.
