Streamers to keep in November
Prime Video
Prime Video has one of the juiciest premiere schedules in November, including the return of a personal favorite of mine: “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power,” which drops its Season 3 premiere on Nov. 11. In Season 3, the Dark Lord Sauron spreads his malevolent influence across Middle-earth and works toward his goal of forging the One Ring, with which he will bend the Free Peoples to his will.

On Nov. 15, Prime Video will drop Season 6 of “The Chosen,” the beloved historical drama that details the final days of Jesus. The entirety of Season 6 will take place over a single day, focusing on the arrest, trial, and suffering of Jesus leading up to the crucifixion.
To close out the month, Prime Video will roll out its ambitious sci-fi series “Blade Runner 2099” on Nov. 25. Set 50 years after the events of “Blade Runner 2049,” Los Angeles has been reborn — but not under humanity. Cora assumes the identity of a Blade Runner to try to find some peace in her own life, but the target she’s hunting could bring the city to its knees.
Prime Video will continue to stream “Thursday Night Football” games over the course of November, including a game on Black Friday between the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers. And with Black Friday shopping deals on Amazon Prime, November is definitely not the month to cancel your subscription.

Disney+ and Hulu
A month of epic fantasy continues on Disney+ with the premiere of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” Season 3 on Nov. 20. The show’s third season will recount the events of “The Titan’s Curse,” the third book in the Percy Jackson series. When Annabeth Chase is taken prisoner by the forces of Kronos, it’s up to Percy and a group of new allies to rescue her.

For more adult fare, customers can bundle Hulu in with Disney+ starting for just $0.50 per month more. Hulu’s debuts during the month include Season 2 of “All's Fair” on Nov. 4, and the series premiere of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County” on Nov. 12, which is sure to be packed with salacious secrets and jaw-dropping moments.
Customers can bundle Disney+ and Hulu with ads starting at just $13 per month, $0.50 more than it costs to get just one of them on its own. Viewers who bundle can watch Hulu titles directly from the Disney+ app, and merge their Hulu profile with Disney+ for easier access.

Paramount+
Spooky Season doesn’t end in October this year — not with the Season 4 premiere of “Yellowjackets” coming to Paramount+ Premium on Nov. 20. Season 4 will focus on the rescue of the Wiskayok High School girl’s soccer team from their harrowing 19-month ordeal in the wilderness, and their more-than-difficult reintegration into a society that doesn’t really know what to make of them — nor they of it.

Having a Paramount+ Premium subscription will also mean viewers get to check out original premieres like “It Gets Worse” on Nov. 6, but that’s not all. Paramount+ Premium includes a live stream of CBS in all television markets in the United States, which means viewers will be able to use the service to follow midterm election coverage in addition to the on-demand shows and movies the streamer offers.
Paramount+ Premium costs $14 per month and allows viewers to stream the platform’s library ad-free. Customers can also watch NFL games on Sunday afternoons, UEFA Champions League matches, and more live sports from CBS with a subscription.
Paramount Plus
Paramount+ is a subscription video streaming service that includes on-demand access to 40,000+ TV show episodes from BET, CBS, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., and more. Get free access with a Walmart+ subscription.

Streamers to cancel in November
Apple TV
Awkwafina fans won’t be terribly thrilled with me for suggesting that Apple TV can go in a month in which “Awkwafina: The Unlikely Cook” premieres. For that matter, neither will those who enjoyed the first season of the golf comedy series “Stick,” as Season 2 debuts in November as well. But the streamer had a bunch of big season finales in October, including “Ted Lasso” and “Slow Horses,” and you might want to cancel your subscription for a little while after all that excitement.
Apple TV
Apple TV (formerly known as Apple TV+) is a subscription video streaming service for $14.99 per month, offering a growing slate of original series, films, documentaries, and specials. Unlike other platforms that combine licensed titles with originals, Apple TV is built entirely around exclusive programming, making it the home of critically acclaimed hits such as “Ted Lasso,” “Severance,” “The Morning Show,” and “Silo.” Its lineup continues to expand with award-winning dramas, comedies, family-friendly shows, and blockbuster original films like “CODA,” which won the Academy Award for Best Picture.
STARZ
There are a couple of key finales on STARZ in November, with “Outlander: Blood of My Blood” Season 2 and “S.W.A.T. Exiles” Season 1 both wrapping up. There aren’t any major premieres on the streamer during the month, however, so canceling and picking up a STARZ subscription when it’s on sale for the holidays isn’t the worst idea.
STARZ
STARZ offers a subscription video streaming service that gives access to content on the STARZ channel without the need of a cable subscription. With your subscription, you’ll get access to 7,500+ films and episodes, including all of their current originals like “Outlander,” The Serpent Queen,” “BMF,” and “Power.”
