Can you watch the 2026 Winter Olympics on Fubo?

Can you watch the 2026 Winter Olympics on Fubo?

Does a blackout of NBC channels on Fubo mean no Olympics? We’ll dig into the details.

Known for breaking major streaming stories, he’s covered everything from Netflix policy shifts to Peacock’s ad-tier changes. A sci-fi fan and Toshiba Fire TV user, he brings sharp analysis and a love for the genre to his reporting.
NBC channels are still blacked out on Fubo, so no Olympic coverage will be available there.

Team USA enthusiasts from coast to coast are excitedly preparing for the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics…except, of course, those with Fubo subscriptions. Unfortunately, Fubo and NBCUniversal have still not resolved a carriage dispute, which first started last November, meaning NBC, CNBC, and USA Network are not currently available on any Fubo plans.

Unless the two sides reach an agreement in the waning hours before the Milan Cortina Games’ opening ceremony, the Olympics will be blacked out for Fubo customers. We want to help any Fubo customers who want to stream games find a way to do so. If you are one, keep reading!

How to watch 2026 Winter Olympics as a Fubo subscriber

Get a Peacock subscription

Fubo has begun offering big discounts and bill credits as a result of the continued blackout of NBCU channels. With the extra savings made available to Fubo customers with these discounts, there should be enough money left over to get a Peacock subscription for at least a month.

Peacock will carry all Olympics coverage found on NBC, CNBC, and USA Network, plus a wide selection of events that won’t be aired on linear TV; all 116 medal events from the 2026 Winter Games will be available on the service. It also includes awesome features such as the new Rinkside Live, alongside returning favorites like multiview, the “Gold Zone” whip-around show, and much more.

Viewers will need a Peacock Premium subscription to watch the Olympics, which includes ads during playback, for $11 per month. Customers can go ad-free with Peacock Premium Plus (live content still comes with ads) for $17 per month.

Peacock

Peacock is a subscription video streaming service from NBCUniversal that includes original shows, blockbuster movies, and classic television series. Peacock is home to “Yellowstone,” “The Office,” and original hits like “Poker Face” and “Bel-Air.” You can also watch live sports and NBC programming, including the NFL, MLB, WWE, the Olympics, the Premier League, NASCAR, the French Open, college football and basketball, and the PGA Tour. Premium Plus subscribers can stream their local NBC feed in all 210 markets.

…

Peacock also includes news, entertainment, sports, late-night, and reality from various NBCU properties, including NBC, Bravo, and E!. Additionally, Peacock has exclusives like “Below Deck: Down Under.” They also include live and on-demand access to Hallmark channels.

The company has acquired the rights to many classic shows, including “Parks and Recreation” and the entire Dick Wolf library, which includes “Law & Order” and “Chicago Fire.”

Peacock features weekly Sunday night NFL games during the regular season, available on the Premium and Premium Plus plans.

Peacock again raised prices on August 18, 2026, with the cost of plans increasing to $8.99 for the Select, $12.99 for Premium, and $19.99 for Premium Plus.

The service also features blockbusters and critically acclaimed films from Universal Pictures, Focus Features, DreamWorks Animation, Illumination, as well as content acquired from Hollywood’s biggest studios.

Pick up an over-the-air antenna

This isn’t the perfect solution for Fubo subscribers, but it will ensure access to the NBC broadcast channel while the blackout continues. An over-the-air antenna over-the-air antenna lets you watch any broadcast channels in your area with no monthly subscription fees or apps; just buy the antenna, plug it into your set, and you’re ready to watch.

An antenna won’t deliver any Olympics content shown on CNBC or USA Network, but it is still an option for watching “Primetime in Milan” and the rest of NBC’s daily coverage of the Games.

Pick another live TV streaming service

If the thought of missing the Olympics has you so fed up with Fubo that you’re ready to cancel, you can consider one of several other live TV streaming services that carry NBC, CNBC, and USA Network. YouTube TV is an ideal choice, as it’s currently offering new customers a 21-day free trial and $23 per month off their subscription for their first two months of service.

DIRECTV and Hulu + Live TV also carry NBC in a wide range of markets, and include CNBC and USA Network in various packages as well. Sling TV is a less ideal choice thanks to a lack of NBC in most areas, but it does still carry the channel in some of the biggest American media markets. Compare these streamers and see which might make the most sense for you in the chart below.
