About 2025 NBA Western Conference Finals
The Oklahoma City Thunder entered the playoffs as the West’s No. 1 overall seed, and have defeated the Memphis Grizzlies and Denver Nuggets to reach this point. They won’t get much time to rest before starting their series against the Timberwolves, but they’re massive favorites, thanks to the star power of presumed MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and a very strong supporting cast.
The Minnesota Timberwolves won’t be intimidated by the Thunder’s success in the regular season or the playoffs so far. Anthony Edwards and the Wolves are returning to the West Finals for the second season in a row, and have already beaten the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors to get here. They’re a pesky team and should prove to be a great matchup against the Thunder.
