Since the heartbreaking disappearance and murder of Scott Peterson’s wife and unborn son, his family and some experts have grasped onto possible inconsistencies in the evidence. Plenty of people agree with the guilty verdict and punishment, but not everyone is certain it’s the truth. In 2024, the Los Angeles Innocence Project took on Scott’s case and hopes to discover another explanation for his pregnant wife’s death.
