About ‘Face to Face With Scott Peterson’

Since the heartbreaking disappearance and murder of Scott Peterson’s wife and unborn son, his family and some experts have grasped onto possible inconsistencies in the evidence. Plenty of people agree with the guilty verdict and punishment, but not everyone is certain it’s the truth. In 2024, the Los Angeles Innocence Project took on Scott’s case and hopes to discover another explanation for his pregnant wife’s death.

Since his conviction in 2004, Scott has not offered an on-camera interview. In “Face to Face With Scott Peterson,” Scott finally shares his story with Director Shareen Anderson, his sister-in-law Janey Peterson, former Modesto Police Department lead detective Al Brocchini and detective Jon Buehler, his former defense attorney Lara Yeretsian, and former ABC News Producer Mike Gudgell.
