DIRECTV
DIRECTV is one of The Streamable’s top choices for the best live TV streaming service overall in 2026, especially for users who want the most channels or want to watch the most live sports. With an unbeatable lineup of local, news, sports, and entertainment channels, three main signature packages, an unlimited DVR, and 20 simultaneous streams at home, DIRECTV remains a premier choice for any cord-cutter.
Can you watch ‘High Value Target: The Hunt for Saddam’ for free?
Yes, you can, as DIRECTV STREAM, Hulu + Live TV, and YouTube TV all have some version of a free trial. They’re not identical, though, and the length of the trial can change depending on what offer your account gets.
The easiest one to understand is DIRECTV STREAM. You regularly get a five-day free trial. Hulu usually gives new subscribers three free days, which also works.
YouTube TV is where things get murky. It advertises trials of up to 21 days, but that doesn’t mean that’s what you’re definitely getting which can be frustrating. So this is one of those annoying little things where you really do have to look at the final checkout screen before clicking through.

What is ‘High Value Target: The Hunt for Saddam’ about?
“High Value” drops Joel Kinnaman into one of the strangest jobs imaginable: sitting across from Saddam Hussein and trying to figure out what he actually knows. Kinnaman plays CIA analyst John Nixon, the first agency officer to interrogate Hussein after his capture in 2003, and the show really lives in those conversations.
Nixon goes in hunting for answers about weapons of mass destruction, but the more Hussein talks, the more complicated the whole story gets. So yes, this is a political thriller, but it’s also basically a pressure-cooker two-hander about truth, power, ego, and what happens when the answers you get aren’t the ones anyone wanted.
High Value Target
In 2003, John Nixon, a CIA analyst became the first American to positively identify and interrogate Saddam Hussein. During their time together, Nixon began to understand the potential consequences of the invasion, the humanitarian horrors and geopolitical turbulences that would follow Saddam’s deposing.
