Don’t miss the World Cup’s final weekend of action
We’ll give you all the details you need to know on how to watch the World Cup in English or Spanish.
It’s hard to believe, but there are only two games left in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The first will happen on Saturday, July 18 as centuries-old rivals (on and off the pitch) France and England will meet in the tournament’s third-place game. The French were shut out in their semifinal match, 2-0, by Spain, while the Brits lost a heartbreaker, 2-1, to Argentina. Now the nations will face off with a bit of bragging rights and an extra $2 million prize purse in the Third-Place Match.
The game will kick off at 5 p.m. ET and will air on on Fox if you are looking to watch the action in English, while Telemundo will handle Spanish-language broadcasting duties. There are a ton of streaming services you can use to watch the 2026 FIFA World Cup, but we recommend using a subscription to DIRECTV to stream every match. You can also stream all of the action with Fox One.

Can you watch the 2026 FIFA World Cup Third-Place Match for free?
There is no single streamer that will allow you to watch all games from the 2026 FIFA World Cup for free, since the tournament will stretch on for nearly 40 days. However, there are streamers that include free trials for new subscribers and carry the channels needed to watch the World Cup.
Fubo carries Fox and FS1 in the Fubo Sports service, as well as all base packages. Unfortunately, a continuing carriage dispute with NBCUniversal has knocked Telemundo and Universo off Fubo, so Spanish-language viewers will have to seek matches elsewhere. The streamer comes with a free trial that can last between one and seven days, depending on the time of month new customers subscribe and other factors beyond the user’s control. Fubo Sports starts at $46 with a special deal after the trial ends, and Fubo’s Pro plan starts at $74.
Hulu + Live TV carries Fox, FS1, and Telemundo in its base package, which comes with a three-day free trial for new customers. After the trial, Hulu + Live TV costs $90 per month for a bundle that includes Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Unlimited access alongside 90+ channels. Viewers will need an add-on to watch Universo with their Hulu + Live TV package, costing an additional $5 per month.
YouTube TV is currently advertising a 21-day free trial, the longest available. After that trial ends, its base plan with Fox, FS1, and Telemundo costs $83 per month. Customers can add Universo to this plan for an additional $15 per month or opt for the Spanish-language plan of YouTube TV for only $35 per month.
Fox One offers new subscribers a seven-day free trial, after which its single service tier costs $20 per month. It will stream all games from the tournament appearing on Fox and FS1, though it will not offer any Spanish-language coverage of the World Cup. Viewers can use Fox One to watch primetime programming and sports from the Fox broadcast channel, news from Fox News, and more.

What are all the services you can use to watch the 2026 FIFA World Cup Third-Place Match?
You can stream the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Fox and FS1 with DIRECTV, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, Sling TV, and YouTube TV. Sling only carries Fox in a small number of markets in its Blue and Select packages, so it’s not the best option to watch the World Cup this year. DIRECTV is our favorite of these choices.
In Spanish, you can stream the 2026 FIFA World Cup on DIRECTV, Hulu + Live TV, and YouTube TV. Sling does not carry Telemundo in any markets in the United States. Peacock will also stream all 104 matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup live in Spanish on its Premium and Premium Plus tiers, starting at $11 per month.
Fox One will carry all 104 matches from the 2026 FIFA World Cup live. The streamer can be bundled with Fox Nation or ESPN Unlimited, and comes with a $20 starting price tag.
Fox One
Launched August 21, 2025, Fox One is a direct-to-consumer streaming service from Fox Corporation. Billed as a “major digital initiative,” Fox One brings together the full range of Fox’s leading news, sports, and entertainment brands, offering live and on-demand access in one unified platform.
