Why do we recommend watching the 2026 Masters golf tournament on DIRECTV, Prime Video?
This is the first year that Prime Video will join linear providers as a partner of The Masters. Viewers will need a Prime Video subscription to watch complete coverage of the tournament’s first round; the streamer costs $9 per month for ad-supported service, or $14 to go ad-free. Alternatively, customers can get Prime Video with the Amazon Prime service for $15 per month total.
For any coverage on CBS or ESPN, we recommend watching with a subscription to DIRECTV’s MySports Genre Pack. It comes with 20+ sports and news cable networks, and costs $65 per month normally — however, a current deal allows new subscribers to pay just $45 per month for their first two months. It includes CBS and ESPN, as well as an ESPN Unlimited subscription, so all Masters coverage on the ESPN App is available. It even comes with a five-day free trial!

DIRECTV
DIRECTV is one of The Streamable’s top choices for the best live TV streaming service overall in 2026, especially for users who want the most channels or want to watch the most live sports. With an unbeatable lineup of local, news, sports, and entertainment channels, three main signature packages, an unlimited DVR, and 20 simultaneous streams at home, DIRECTV remains a premier choice for any cord-cutter.
-
Prime Video
Prime Video is a subscription video streaming service that includes on-demand access to 10,000+ movies, TV shows, and Prime Originals like “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power,” “Jack Ryan,” “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” “The Boys,” and more. Subscribers can also add third-party services like Max, Showtime, STARZ, and dozens more with Prime Video Channels. Prime Video also offers exclusive live access to NFL Thursday Night Football.
Can you stream the 2026 Masters golf tournament for free?
There is a path! Let’s start with Prime Video: new Amazon Prime customers get a 30-day free trial, and since Prime Video is included in that service, its coverage will be available free if you take advantage of this offer.
Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, and YouTube TV all offer free trials, and each of them carries CBS and ESPN. The Fubo Sports service ($46 for your first month) has a free trial that can last between one and seven days, depending on what time of month you subscribe and other factors. YouTube TV’s trial works in a similar fashion, ranging between two and 21 days in length. Its core package costs $83, and its sports-only pack costs $55 for a new customer’s first year.
Hulu + Live TV offers all new customers a three-day free trial.
What are all the services you can use to watch the 2026 Masters golf tournament?
You can stream CBS and ESPN’s coverage of The Masters on DIRECTV, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, and YouTube TV — though we recommend DIRECTV most highly of these choices. Sling TV only carries ESPN in its Orange plan, and does not have CBS in any plan or market.
Prime Video is the sole host of the first two hours of Masters coverage on Thursday and Friday.
ESPN’s coverage of The Masters will be available to all ESPN Unlimited subscribers; its plans start at $30 per month.
Paramount+ will offer early coverage of The Masters on Saturday and Sunday on both plans, but only the Premium plan will include coverage of the third and fourth rounds during the weekend. The Essential plan costs $9 per month, while the Premium plan costs $14.
