WWE streams its new developmental show ‘WWE Evolve’ for free
Get to know young professional wrestlers at the very beginning of their careers in the new show streaming on Tubi.
Anyone who has ever watched professional wrestling knows what a hard-knock life it can be. And while sports entertainment fans are used to seeing the marquee names on shows like “WWE Raw” and “WWE Smackdown,” those shows don’t provide any opportunities to see the next generation of wrestling superstars at the very beginning of their careers. Now, the WWE is pulling the curtain back on the athletes who are just beginning their wrestling journeys on “WWE Evolve,” which will premiere on Wednesday, March 5 at 8 p.m. on Tubi. This developmental show will chronicle up-and-coming stars as they attempt to climb the ladder from Evolve to NXT to the main roster. You can watch for free with Tubi.

Everything you need to know to stream “WWE Evolve”:
When will episodes of ‘WWE Evolve’ air?
The premiere of “WWE Evolve” will air on Tubi on Wednesday, March 5 at 8 p.m. ET. Future episodes will premiere at the same time on subsequent Wednesdays.
Can you watch ‘WWE Evolve’ for free?
Yes, you can. While every other weekly WWE show and Premium Live Event will require either a cable, satellite, or streaming subscription — or at least an over-the-air antenna in the case of “WWE NXT” — “WWE Evolve” is absolutely free. The weekly show will air on Tubi, Fox’s ad-supported streaming service.
Tubi
Tubi is a free video streaming service that includes on-demand access to 200,000+ movies and TV episodes - more than any other streaming service. Its ad breaks are shorter and less frequent than most free services. Fox executives have called their service “TV on steroids.”
What is ‘WWE Evolve’ about?
“WWE Evolve” is the show focusing on the wrestling company’s entry level developmental promotion. It has been defined as the “spiritual successor to Evolve professional wrestling, which the WWE purchased in 2020. That promotion’s owner and founder, Gabe Sapolsky, will serve as the head of “WWE Evolve.”
The show will focus on young wrestlers beginning their careers as they build on their athletic, character, and mic skills. The promotion is designed to be a training ground for wrestlers to grow before taking the next step to NXT and then potentially the main roster’s “Raw” or “Smackdown” brands in the future.
“We are excited to work with our incredible partners at Tubi to showcase our young, rising talent to the WWE Universe, as they start their in-ring journey competing each week to fulfill their lifelong dream of becoming a WWE Superstar,” WWE hall of fame and SVP of talent development creative Shawn Michaels said.

What other wrestling content is available on Tubi?
Tubi has tons of on-demand titles and channels featuring modern and classic wrestling content. On the streamer, you can watch the last 10 seasons of “WWE NXT,” along with titles like the “Icons of Wrestling” docuseries, dozens of episodes of “Classic All Star Wrestling,” matches from promotions Real Wrestling and Combat Zone Wrestling, and much more.
Where else can you stream WWE programming?
There are two main platforms that carry WWE titles, Peacock and Netflix, though they aren’t the only places that you can watch the promotion’s programming. The only exclusive content on Peacock is the monthly Premium Live Events (PLEs), but with titles like WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, and more, the NBCUniversal stream is an indispensable service for wrestling fans.
In addition, Peacock is the home to the WWE’s expansive library, allowing you to watch iconic matches, pay-per-views, documentaries, and more. In addition, the site offers next-day, on-demand replays of “WWE Smackdown,” as it airs on its sibling cable channel the USA Network.
The other streamer that WWE fans need to have access to is Netflix. The world’s largest streamer is the home of the WWE’s flagship show “Monday Night Raw.” In addition, “NXT” airs on the ancillary broadcast network The CW, so you will either need a live TV streaming service or antenna to check out that show.
