Today is the last chance to cancel MLB.TV or be charged for 2025
If you’re an MLB.TV subscriber, your subscription will automatically renew on Feb. 28 unless you cancel.
It’s almost baseball season! Even though it’s still technically February, the MLB regular season is just around the corner. Spring training has already begun, and that means soon teams will be returning to the diamond for games that count. It also means that customers with MLB.TV subscriptions are about to see their plan renew automatically, and you only have a few hours left to cancel if you don’t want MLB.TV this year!
Key Details:
- MLB.TV subscriptions auto-renew on Saturday, March 1.
- The service will cost $150 for all-team plans, or $130 for single-team subscriptions again in 2025.
- Monthly plans of MLB.TV are still available for $30.
Annual MLB.TV subscriptions will auto-renew as of Saturday, March 1. That means any subscribers who had MLB.TV last year and have not canceled yet, must do so before the end of the day on Friday, Feb. 28, if they don’t want to be charged for another season of the service.
If you do want to keep your MLB.TV plan this year, no action is needed. Your package will renew at the current price, since MLB.TV opted not to raise subscription costs ahead of the 2025 season. That means the price of an all-team MLB.TV subscription will remain at $150, and the single-team plan is $120.
Customers in select markets can also watch in-market games on MLB.TV. Viewers in the markets of the Arizona Diamondbacks], Cleveland Guardians, Colorado Rockies, San Diego Padres, and Minnesota Twins can sign up for an annual subscription to stream only their team’s games for $100 per season. These customers can also watch in-market games from these teams, plus out-of-market games from every other club for $200 for the year.
MLB.TV allows fans to watch out-of-market MLB games not appearing on national channels like ESPN, Fox, or TBS. It has a ton of fan-friendly features like multiview, a live stream of MLB Network, access to MiLB games and local pre- and post-game shows, and much more. It’s a great way for out-of-market fans to watch their favorite teams, but if you’re not interested in returning to MLB.TV in 2025, you must cancel your plan before the end of the day on Friday, Feb. 28.
