How to Sign Up and Download AT&T WatchTV on Sony Smart TV

Unfortunately, AT&T WatchTV is not currently available natively using Sony Smart TV. AT&T WatchTV may launch a native app for Sony Smart TV in the future, but for now you can only stream using Apple AirPlay (2019+ models) or Google Cast (2019+ models).

You can still sign up for AT&T WatchTV and use it on other devices like Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, Android TV, iPhone/iPad, Android Phone/Tablet, Mac, Windows, LG Smart TV, Samsung Smart TV, and VIZIO Smart TV.

Apple AirPlay

  1. Click here to sign up for AT&T WatchTV.
  2. Install the AT&T WatchTV iPhone/iPad app.
  3. Once installed, log in using your AT&T WatchTV credentials.
  4. Make sure your Smart TV is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone/iPad.
  5. Start playing the content in the AT&T WatchTV app and select the AirPlay icon.
  6. Choose your Sony Smart TV and it will start displaying on your Smart TV.

If you have a compatible TV and you don’t see AirPlay as an option, make sure you update to the latest Sony Smart TV firmware.

Google Cast

  1. Click here to sign up for AT&T WatchTV.
  2. Install the AT&T WatchTV iPhone/iPad app or Android Phone/Tablet app.
  3. Once installed, log in using your AT&T WatchTV credentials.
  4. Make sure your Smart TV is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Android Phone/Tablet or iPhone/iPad.
  5. Start playing the content in the AT&T WatchTV app and select the Google Cast icon.
  6. Choose your Sony Smart TV and it will start displaying on your Smart TV.
