For the moment, Prime Video has not followed the trend set by other streaming services with regard to sharing passwords. The streamer doesn’t crack down on those who share their login credentials, but that can lead to a feeling of less security for account owners who aren’t sure if their subscription is being used properly.

The good news is, Prime Video gives its customers a way to see all the devices their account is logged into. We’ll give you instructions on how to view the devices using your Prime Video subscription, and how to sign them out, if necessary, below.

What you need to know about managing devices using your Prime Video account

How to see which devices are using your Prime Video account

Prime Video will let you see a comprehensive list of the devices logged into your subscription. To do this, use the following steps:

  1. Click here to log into your Prime Video account.
  2. Hover over your profile icon in the top-right corner, then click Account and Settings.
  3. Click the Devices tab at the top of the screen.

How to sign out of any device using your Prime Video subscription

It’s easy to log any device out of your Prime Video account. All you’ll have to do is follow the instructions above to get to the Devices tab, then scroll to the device you want removed. Click the Sign Out button to revoke that device’s access to your account.

Prime Video does not allow the account owner to log out of all devices at once, so users will have to go one-by-one if they want to sign out of all devices simultaneously.

What to do if unauthorized devices are using your Prime Video

If your Prime Video account is being used by devices you don’t recognize, it’s a good idea to change the username and password associated with your subscription right away. The Streamable has an easy-to-use guide for that procedure, and you can re-secure your account in just minutes.

Does Prime Video allow password sharing?

Prime Video does not have any official rules to prevent the sharing of passwords. The service may not want its customers sharing accounts across households, but it has not begun enforcing any policies to curb the practice as of the time of this writing.
