REELZ announces launch of new REELZ+ streaming service
The streamer promises full access to REELZ programming on demand, including episodes of ‘On Patrol: Live’
The REELZ cable channel is rolling out a new streaming option for its devoted audience. Starting on Friday, March 21, viewers can sign up for REELZ+, a streamer that will offer full on-demand access to REELZ programming and much more for a pretty affordable price.

REELZ+ is available to sign up for now and will carry a huge amount of content that fans of the cable channel will love the chance to watch. That includes all episodes of “On Patrol: Live,” as well as its lead-in series “On Patrol: First Shift.” It also carries the linear network live.
The cost of REELZ+ is $5 per month, but for a limited time, customers can take advantage of a special introductory offer of $50 for an annual subscription. REELZ+ will be available to stream on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and the web at first, but other platforms are coming soon.
If you already get the REELZ cable channel as part of a pay-TV subscription, you will be able to log into REELZ+ and use the streamer at no extra cost.
“In an ever-changing media world, having REELZ and our hit program On Patrol: Live affordably available through our own streaming app to anyone in the US elevates the network to a truly multi-platform experience,” REELZ CEO Stan E. Hubbard said. “Fans can now enjoy On Patrol: Live every Friday and Saturday night, and let their friends who don’t get REELZ know that there is a new way to get us, as it airs on the device of their choice and includes access to our growing library of programming on demand.”
It will bear watching to determine what happens with the REELZ experience on Peacock now that REELZ+ is available. In 2023, Peacock added a live stream of the REELZ channel, in a deal which also saw episodes of “On Patrol: Live” stream there on-demand. REELZ may continue to share that content with Peacock in the long term, or it may decide not to renew the agreement with Peacock once it ends.
“On Patrol: Live” isn’t ending any time soon, however; in fact, the show was renewed for another 90 episodes in February. Now, fans will be able to enjoy the episodes via their new streaming home of REELZ+.
REELZ+
REELZ has launched REELZ+, its first direct-to-consumer streaming app. It offers live access to the network and on-demand programming, including all episodes of “On Patrol: Live” and its lead-in, “On Patrol: First Shift.” Available in the U.S. for $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year, REELZ+ can be accessed on reelzplus.com, Roku, and Amazon Fire. Existing cable and satellite subscribers with REELZ can authenticate their accounts for free access. Subscribers gain access to the full REELZ library, featuring crime and law enforcement-focused series such as “Autopsy: The Last Hours of…,” “Gangsters: America’s Most Evil,” and “Murder Made Me Famous.”
